I am a RB Leipzig fan and their logo / sponsorship on their shirt is a Red Bull logo. This can be bad to wash with the washing machine. Also on the back of the Jersey, it has 'RB Leipzig' on there, kinda like a name. Those can be damaged too if washed incorrectly. Thankfully, your video seems very logical and clever. I will try this with my new RB Leipzig shirts and fingers crossed will be a lot easier and safer than the washing machine. Great video!

So I just bought the 2021/22 authentic Messi barca jersey and I wore it once to a football game. Obviously I started sweating a lot and in the pit area smells like sweat right, completely regret wearing it because I want to keep that jersey in the best condition possible. I’m scared to even hand wash it. Don’t want to wear it again either just want to frame it or something. Would you recommend dry cleaners?

It’s a very personal choice to frame it or wear it. I like wearing my jerseys to play, not as much to hang out to be honest, but as I am getting older quickly and see the end of my football careered approaching soon, I may need to start wearing my hundreds of jersey casually more often…I just prefer playing with them…anyway, that’s me. I feel it’s a waste to frame the jerseys, although I have a couple framed (don’t have lots of space to hang them….my wife will kill me if I hang more frames with jerseys…hahah). I’d recommend you to wear them. Enjoy every little minute with it. Make sure you wear a deodorant that will protect your jerseys to get stain and immediately hand wash the ones you value the most. That’s my opinion.

It will probably be, as there were few times i forgot to turn it inside out and was everything fine, but I'd recommend to always turn it inside out, as some jerseys are more sensitive than others (specially having sponsors, number and name sets...)

I can't say with 100% certainty., as stains and fabric varies...it's hard to say for sure. You can give it a try, always being gentle and watching closely to see if you should continue with the process or immediately stop.

Wondering what people do when they purchase a brand new shirt from Nike/Adidas/Puma etc? Do they take the tags off and wash it first before using it? OR take he tags off and just add it to the collection/start wearing. OR keep the tags on and add to collection until wearing it or reselling it. I know some people have sensitive skin and rather would wash it first before wearing straight from the company. And finally, do people wash a brand new shirt bought from a private sale (ebay, craigslist, offerup) BNWT or BN no tags? Or do they just add to collection until wearing it or reselling it?

I'd say most of the people take the tags off and start using the jersey, without washing it first, after buying brand new, but when they buy used oned, most, or everyone, wash it first. This is what I think.

There is no ridiculous questions. I wish I could say 100% that this process I highlighted will work, but if I were you I would totally try it, making sure you only apply this trick on the spot that needs attention and being really careful, stopping the process w=if you feel it's not working. One thing that is powerful is letting dry in the Sun, but don't let for a long time. Keep monitoring the progress. Good luck! Hope you can at least make the stain less visible.

It is unnecessary to do all this, if you put them inside out in the washing machine on delicate setting or cold if you don’t have a delicate setting then air dry and they will be fine. I’ve washed them multiple times and no issues so far

How to remove mildew stain from jersey ?

It depend on the color of the jersey. If white, try stain remover for few minutes, wash with detergent and leave drying in the sun. If colored, I would not try the stain remover...read the stain remover instructions to make sure it will not damage your jersey, independently if it''s white or colored. Sometimes just using the detergente and leaving in the sun for hours can do the job.Sometimes this works.

@@MrJersey my logo was not a printed one. It was punched with butter paper keeping the logo on it. Now the procedure which I did- I kept electric iron in no.3 and kept for heating.then i took a white paper and did as you told.Then I tried to take the paper then I realised that the logo was also coming with the paper.Quickly I took a block of ice and put and swiped on it.And because of that only my half logo came with it.But there is one advantage.Before when I just bend my jersey logo it used to peel off.But now when I bend, scratch also nothing is happening. Only my half logo went😔😔
