Cracking 2 nighter Jim , I used the 2 person version of the F10 . Some decent sunsets and Timelapse’s , it’s funny how the mind and eyes play tricks, it did look like someone stood there !! I reckon an overnighter in that old farm ruin would be a good night ! TFS atb Dave ⛺️👍

Cheers Dave. It was a good walk. I think i covered 40km or so. That farm is technically out of the permitted camping zone but people still camp there. That gate post looked human, the shades of grey made it so real. ATB

@MrJimJD Hi Jim - Great video! I’m a local Devon boy like yourself, from further south of the county (Exeter area). I reckon you have a North Devon accent? Or even Northeast Cornwall?! Well - a pal and I would have nearly stumbled over you on your second day when you visited Fernworthy - Bank Holiday Monday (29th August) - as we were circumnavigating Fernworthy Reservoir checking out the various Bronze Age settlements that were visible (and normally submerged) owing to the Reservoir’s low water level caused by this year’s drought. The last occasion these settlements were seen was in the 1976 drought! My pal and I are amateur archaeologists. We have been there and got the T-shirts - i.e. walked all the places you visited on this trip, but NEVER all in one go - well done! I’ve passed details of your video to my mate, who I know will also enjoy your video. I have another hobby that fits in well with my Dartmooring - I am a Sad Ham (Amateur Radio Operator) and can make great long distance communications with other Sad Hams elsewhere in the UK (and Europe) owing to the great height that Dartmoor provides. I’m now off to view some more of your videos! Iain.

That looked an enjoyable couple of days MrJimJD and a fair old distance. Loved the time lapses, well done! I thought it was only in Cornwall that Ginsters pasties were unloved LOL. Regards Keith

Thanks Keith. It was a good distance- about 40km overall. Those pasties are either loved or disliked - wherever anyone is to. I can eat them (just) but there are better ones about. ATB
