I've seen foxes several times up there. Fur tor had bit of an issue with them.

Cheers Dave. Even though we've had rain recently it was very dry still. I used that mug a lot years ago but upgraded to toaks 750ml, so it doesn't get used now. The porridge is what I use to do but with the cost of some meals it makes sense to start doing that again. The stealth stove is a nice design - just need to try it more to be comfortable with it. ATB

Thanks Dave. It's a slight incovenience with the bus service. At least I can still get there - just no Sunday/Bank Holiday service at present. I do like those Wayfarer meals, though they are a bit heavy. I wish I got one of those pumps a lot earlier - it's so much easier to inflate my mat. I never liked the pump sacks for them. ATB

Cheers Jay. Shelstone has always been a good pitch. The bus is not a seasonal thing - just some cutback/alteration with Stagecoach timetables. You never know, a Sunday/Bank Holiday Monday service could be added in the future. At least I can still get there. ATB

Thanks Keith. Think I'd struggle to see a 500m target! I've never noticed a difference between either Spams - they taste the same to me. If I knew midges would be about I'd use the inner net but as its later in year they weren't about. ATB
