2020 and 2021 was bad for me too… and I saw so many people growing family wise, Career wise, as a human. Well I was always comparing myself with others and feeling that I was not enough. So much fights and stress at home … it took a toll on my health. Hey, Jovi. First of all, thanks for sharing your story. I'm turning 23 on the 8th and I'll be having a divorce very soon. I was just unhappy. 2020 was hands down, the worst year of my life. I was depressed for 5 months straight. I didn't even socialize with my family members. I was deep down in the shit. I had suicidal thoughts, I used to cry to God to take me. Then some relatives used to pass taunts that no one will marry a divorcee, make it work but for the first time in my life I was 100% sure that I'll be the happiest if I end this. Now that I know it's going to end and I'm happy. 2021 has been better, let's not be ungrateful. I've my parents by my side, I moved back to Dubai, I was born here and I'm taking it one day at a time, living my life to the fullest. My parents have been my biggest support system and I would have still been in a mess if they wouldn't have encouraged me. More power to you, Jovi. Keep shining bright. ❤

So, I am just a 19 yr old, 1st year Molecular Medicine student ( budding scientist) from Cochin. Things were going ok for me until last June, where my father was suddenly diagnosed with a severe cardiac block and was subjected for a CABG bypass surgery. Things moved upside down since then as I am alone with my mother who is also busy working. Untill then I was having online classes thanks to COVID 😂 so that I could help my father even under mother's absence . But later I had to join the clg and my father became alone at home as we both suffer 'no leaves'. Now it is coming back to a normal life slowly and slowly...I hope that 2022 will make my father fit and ready to join back to work and bring the family to the stable, stress free life.
