I think this is the first proper review of the Portofino on the internet. It looks gorgeous in white with the blue interior. For a long time you couldn't spec a Portofinno on the Ferrari web site. Thankfully now you can. Thanks.

Ferrari has done a fantastic job at reinventing it's "entry level" car. I was among the many people who found the California T to be a little soft in both design and performance. The Portofino looks and sounds to be more "masculine' (for lack of a better word, I mean no offense) and at some angles might even be looked at as a "baby 599 or f12." And as always, Mr. JWW does an incredible job of showing this car in the real world and not the factory or corporate media review video.

So what do we think of the new Ferrari Portofino so far? While the car is still a little on the softer - grand tourers style of driving - i found it to be a lot more engaging and entertaining than the California T it replaces! Ultimately for me a good car makes me want to keep on driving it and the Portofino left me wanting to explore it further...

The gearbox is practically the same as the California T. Novitec will fill the small hp and torque difference in the almost identical engine. The suspensions are quite similar, properly optioned. Not much of an upgrade, at least for the price delta. The difference between the California and the California T is much greater than the difference between the T and the Portafino...

Without wanting to blow too much smoke up your arse James, you really have got this "presenting" sketch off to a T. Even if the quality of the editing wasn't up to much {it's pretty much as good if not better than 99.9% of you tube broadcasted motor content} I know people would still watch you. As much as I'd like to write you off as somebody I'd take an instant dislike to if I saw you face to face (Flash twat etc lol) I don't think I'd be able to. You've got that infectious enthusiasm, genuine personality and descriptive manner that people switch onto. It's only a matter of time before a multi-platformed, high profile motoring show gets wind and signs you up, me thinks.
