Honestly: "Picture a Tesla and add the verocity of a V8". that is the most accurate and believable and actually cathartic description of flooring a Koenigsegg. For those of us that will never even see one in real life. That is actually fathomable as a lot of us will have the chance to try a Tesla. I have, and therefore I can actually envision and imagine what you mean. Which is the closest I will come to experiencing a Koenigsegg, so thank you :)

I mean this car is a WORK OF ART! what i like about Koenigsegg is everything is made by them and the Michelin tyres work with the company. Like if you look at the aston martin valkyrie, too much down force the tyres cant handle it whereas koenigsegg has taken it another step further by working with Michelin to deal with the speed and downforce!, that is the difference in attention to detail

To me, Koenigsegg is the best hypercar brand there is and possibly EVER. I mean these cars have the most horsepower there is along with lots of thorough engineering to maximize a car’s speed, handling, and appearance. Don’t get me wrong these cars are mostly built for top speed, but even for going around the track they’re pretty good. 😎

I don’t think the wheels are a single piece of carbon, I think they’re many layers of carbon that are bonded together using the autoclave, how they make them that strong and light is black magic

No way someone is buying a regera for £4m…one was offered at auction in 2021 for $2.75m and didn’t sell. Also in 2019 at RM for $2.6m and didn’t sell. I’m not sure how you can get £4m for a regera.

It’s crazy to think that THE Bugatti Bolide (a track ONLY car) which is (or was) the top product of the multinational conglomerate - the VW group - has less impressive performance specs than the Regera. It has almost half the torque of Regera. Yes It is lighter than Regera, and it’s not a hybrid like Regera but it’s so bare bones compared to the plush Regera. And Regera is a grand tourer, not track car.

What happens if you pull the reverse paddle while you’re driving around the track ? Is there some sort of ‘Lockout’ like on a gated manual to prevent the car from going into reverse

To engage Drive, Neutral, Reverse mode, the car has to be standing still. So if you pull the Reverse paddle when moving, it will increase the Regeneration from braking (based on how long and how hard you pull the paddle). This also can help the car stop faster, and obviously, regenerate electric faster.

@@coole6825 I'm asking knowing that there are owners using bugatti as daily and it doesn't give them any failure (even shmee said it in the mansory veyron video), as for koenigsegg, regera fails the entertainment system (it happened to EddieX in the regera review ), at agera the engine fails (in the agera rs "LM" the engine fried in transit and an agera R that burst the engine at the dealership, I think it was even in london, when the owner went to pick it up).

The 00-tys was crasy. First came CC8. and well everyone like, there will never be a stronger car. Then Bugatti came with the 1000hp one, then Koenigsegg came with the 1100hp one and then every one and there mother came with a little over 1100hp one, then Well i guess we are into the 10tys now with agera One:1 with the almost 1400hp.

The orange tang is ugly as hell. I absolutely HATE the orange. It would have looked a billion times better if that were a dark red. But orange??? Have no idea what could be the thought process there. However, that is where the critique stops. EVERYTHING ELSE IS GORGEOUS!!!!! But that doesn't apply to the video itself, as my only other complaint is that you said you weren't going to go into all this detail, as you did it already in a separate vid, but then you go on to take up MOST of this vid doing just that, rehashing all the details AGAIN!!! Come on man, let's get on with it. We want to see it MOVE!
