I’m so excited for this reaction/discussion series. Yeah, this was posted well before the game released. I don’t know why Amber and some other characters from the initial cast didn’t get demos.

Ooh, that'll be interesting to hear your thoughts about the trailers! I know you don't play Honkai Star Rail anymore but honestly, I feel like you'd like HSR's character trailers. Even if it's just to see what Genshin's sibling is up to haha

Perhaps it is something I'll check out someday. But I won't have much of any context for the characters or story, like I do with Genshin.

Since you mentioned missing full skillset explanations, there is a third type of video apart from demos (gameplay/ingame cutscene trailer) and teasers (drawn animations, only for 5 star chars), called "collected miscellany". Those go in depth about the moveset for each character with a bit of comment from the narrator (usually Dain). And yes, a lot of the release characters didn't get demos. Before release those videos were made to show off the game itself more than the characters. They have a lot of scenery, general gameplay, and other characters showing up.

For characters that have (Unless I accidentally miss one at some point) a Demo, Teaser, Misc, or any combination of the three, I'll be checking all of them out in their respective video.

@@Tiger_34 that's actually a great way to do it! really good way to delve into a character for a video, shows off the character, gives you full game-play explanation, and then some lore about them sprinkled in to round it out.

Yeah Its really after the game releases and they start doing the featured 5 stars that it gets much better but as long as you know they start off rough it will be fun to watch.

About the fact that Kaeya is a Captain of a Cavalry that apparently doesn't exist: Horses truly exist in Mondstadt but they were all taken in Varka's(The actual Grand Master and "Edited out") Expedition. Not sure why and how someone thought that was a good decision from a tactical standpoint but, here we are anyway!!!! ;) Please, correct me if i'm misremembering the details wrong.

Interesting, interesting. So there's a story reason for it. Though I must say it's kinda odd for Varka to uproot every single living & breathing horse in Mondstadt for the expedition. Hopefully we'll see horses appear with the Mondstadt expansion in the future, or whatever we're calling that officially.

Just a small correction, Varka is indeed the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius but he is not Jean's and Barbara's father. Their father is Seamus Pegg, Seneschal of the Church of Favonius, who is currently in Varka's expedition as well. He was briefly shown in the manga.

@@UberWraith Thanks for the clarification! I was under the impression that somewere i saw/heard that Varka was Jean's father for some reason. Probably i'm misremembering it ;) I'm about to read the Manga for years now! Always end forgetting though.... Simon Pegg it is then! Seamus Pegg i mean....

9:16, there was an event that uses that kind of camera feature, using a gadget, was expecting that it would be implemented but so far it didn't.

there are a lot of characters if you're only gonna do 1 per a day.

It won't be one per day, but rather as many at a time, whenever I get around to recording them (Similarly to the Natlan reactions I'm currently uploading one after the other). I was originally suppose to do Kaeya, Fischl, & Xiangling back to back, but plans for that day changed.
