The funniest thing about Heihachi's Reveal is that Harada (the Creator of Tekken) LITERALLY stated that Heihachi was COMPLETELY DEAD but then here is Heihachi and he is better than ever

And the reveal happened a month after Summer Game Fest 2024 revealed that M. Bison would appear in 'Street Fighter 6', 8 years after he was seemingly vanquished for good in 'SFV'. Additionally; both characters are now voiced by Taiten Kusunoki, who took over the roles of his predecessors.

As for you Nik, they said in an interview which most of you dont bother checking at all either, that later they decided for Heihachi to return, cuz he was missed by devs and fans, along wanting to celebrate 30 years of the series, they didnt lie about it back in december 2022 when Reina was first revealed, a timethe game wasnt even out either, Heihachi came almost a year later as dlc announcement and by how the expansion was in quality, especially story telling, its clear he was late addition, most of you really need to do your homework

I’m with a lot of older fans that Eddy should have been in the base roster, but I’m happy to have him back regardless. His capoeira is just so fun to watch when utilized by the right player. Lidia I really like because she just looks so darn cool. And yes, her fighting style is karate. Specifically Shotokan Karate. Much like what Ryu and Ken use. But it’s a different variant called Pokskie Karate. And it fits she has a special intro with Jin who also uses Karate in his move set. Heihachi, I knew wouldn’t stay dead for long, but I didn’t think he would come back this quickly. Thought they would given it until the next game, but hey, he’s here now, and deadly as ever. His laugh will forever haunt the Tekken cast. Clive I never expected to show up because I’m not too knowledgeable about FF, but holy heck am I so glad he was added. His moves, his voice, and all the summons he uses, not to mention all the literal firepower at his disposal made drawn to him. And apparently his story is very similar to Jin’s where both characters are on a redemption arc, and with Jin being my favorite Tekken character of all time, this just makes me love Clive even more! Even got FFXVI because of Clive ❤️🔥

Clive is awesome because it got me into FF16. I feel like that game never really got the attention it deserved. Couldn't have asked for a better first guest character. Plus, he's fun as hell. Nice reaction!

Interesting thing about heihachi is that the season pass got "datamined" before launch, and he was nowhere to be seen in any of the files, the datamine suggested it would be Marduk and was correct for Eddy and Lidia. Heihachi was the first true surprise we'd gotten in a Tekken reveal in a very long time. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that big-ass fuckin mustache

I’ve said this too many times in other people’s comment, but why not. I had a feeling FF16 or FF14 might be one of the guest character because Harada sat with the producer of 14 and 16 and posted it in IG. And there’s 3 part videos that Bandai did to introduced this collaboration and said they want Clive even before 16 releases (the main game) and even released. Like the first trailer for 16 and they’re already like “we want him” 😂😂😂

Tekken 9 from what is heavily implied that he will go after Jin and Kazuya will mainly be about him facing his eldest son Kazuya one final time. Kazuya will be the main focus this time and since the Mishimas' clan members Suzaku and Seiryu are here. They are looking to redeem impure relatives to light. With Heihachi they failed but as for Kazuya since he is confirmed to be with Jun(Kazuya's wife) unconscious, there is hope

As a Heihachi player from the days of Tekken 5, Heihachi feels split apart in Tekken 8. The oppressive style of Heihachi has gone to Reina while the very technical aspect of Heihachi remained with him. So they both play differently to each other. I really enjoy playing both characters though having played Reina more, she feels more comfortable to play out of the two. Probably means I enjoyed the oppressive aspect of Heihachi's kit a bit more. That said I do really enjoy the new style Heihachi has. Wind God and Thunder God Kamae stances add a few thing that he would have lost with the split in his fighting style, and while stance heavy characters have been something people complained about, I honestly liked these for him. Though like father, like daughter... their lows aren't that great. :P

It's not canon, but in Street Fighter X Tekken, when Heihachi activates Pandora his skin turns blood red instead of having the same transformation as everyone else. We never got an explanation for why.

I think alot of ppl didnt like seeing Clive cause it would be a Noctis(FF15) issue. I dont mind since I had ways of dealing with his broken kit. Plus the hate doed down a bit when they added Negan from The Walking Dead

@ChocolateKieran His weapon range is crazy, 90% of his moves are punish attacks, each weapon parry window is different. It can be a little annoying, but overtime ppl worked around his style. So with Clive it looks like its happening again lol
