My week's been sucky. It was midterm week for my teens. 🤨 My best friend (who introduced me to my husband when we were teenagers) has been fighting breast cancer. When spots were found in her liver, she started another round of rough chemo, which was full-force. We just got her latest scans, and not only is it still in her liver, but now it is in her spine and her bones. She has two teenage daughters. I'm not processing it well at all. Sometimes things just really suck.😢 I mixed Kayali 28 with Commodity Milk today. My dental hygienist complimented it.

Hi Melanie yes the Zoeva en taupe is a long time favourite because it's really easy and still a great formula. It's light and primarily cooler toned which is why it works for me so well. I could do without the random peach shade tbh but the rest of the palette works really well for me. I have ashy blonde hair (with a scattering of white threads😂), ultra pale cool toned skin and grey eyes. I'm so cool toned that warm shades look terrible on me and truly cool toned palettes are still hard to find. For reference I'm shade 00 in Dior, 004 in KVD and 03P in Sephora own brand -yes I'm THAT pale😂. So many palettes don't have enough lighter shades as I really don't need many dark shades. This week I bought the Maybelline plum twilight mascara. I remember loving coloured mascara when it was around a few years ago, but shades like navy and purple were always my preference over brown etc. don't get me wrong I love black mascara and this aging rock chick will always love black, but the purple is really pretty and dark enough to give the definition I need. I love patchouli. In all forms, even if my husband will stay miles away when I want my hippy smell for the day😂….the best patchouli I’ve ever had was CDG luxe patchouli and they discontinued it and it broke me. Oh man, it was the best, freshest, green patchouli with wood and a sweet musk undertone. On my skin, it was divine. I hate when perfumers take away the best scents. I haven’t found a dupe that even comes close. On to skin, mine isn’t dry at all now, it’s gone almost normal and that’s amazing. Also, my hair is getting oilier at the scalp after three days. I used to wash it once every 4-5, now it’s every couple. Shocking what hormones do..

Omg your Vanilla 28 has gotten so dark and macerated so nicely 😩question…have you ever had dupes of high end niche perfumes? I recently discovered some companies like The Dua Brand & Dapper Fragrances and have found very nice projection and pretty close to the original. My Vanilla 28 is a spot on dupe!!
