Hi Melanie. This week I was obsessing over CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara, Revlon Smokey Rose lipstick and VS Velvet Petals Daydream lotion and body spray. It smells like a newborn baby. Very sweet.

Hi Melanie from memory I think the bare minerals looks better over a primer and with a very dense buffing brush. I've used both the bare minerals and Laura Gellor previously (although a long time ago now😂) and the bare minerals really needs buffed into the skin. I'm now so dry I can't use powder foundation but I used it a lot in my thirties when working as a Registered Nurse in hot hospital wards😂 as it stayed on well even wearing a mask etc. This week I was loving a more pinky red blush and Saie chilly is that shade on my ultra pale cool toned skin. It looks mauve in the component but looks pinky red on me - it's pretty for the Winter 😂. I mostly used the Catrice lip oil with some lipliner as it's very hydrating. I was playing with the Beauty bay smoky palette I got half price for Xmas - lots of cooler neutrals and a surprisingly good formula for the price. I did buy a palette in the sales😂. The Laura Mercier Winter wonderland palette caught my eye before Xmas, but it was £48 ouch and I didn't buy it. It was half price and I had a £5 points voucher plus some money from an actual voucher I got for Xmas, so I bought it😂. I'll play with it this weekend and let you know but it's really pretty and shimmer without glitter which looks better on my 52 year old eyes tbh. Swatches well 😂. Best wishes x

I used to use Bareminerals foundation until I found Laura Geller Baked Balance & Brighten[ thanks Melanie]. I'm LOVING the neck serum that came in the dermatology mystery box!

If not using facial oils anymore, maybe add a few drops at night again. That's what personally changed my skin so I'm a fan, with it changing me from non-stop oily with a rare ugly dry patch to completely normal skin, and haven't had any dry patches for years. I just add a few drops to my moisturizer every night, and I'm good. I never liked the Bare Mineral original foundation. No matter how little or how much I used, how much time I spent buffing it in, it ended up looking patchy and like a magnifying glass for my pores. The whole point of my trying it over and over back in the day was to hide my pores and to not look patchy so it was a no-go for me.
