Has a magnetic roller at end of conveyor. Metsl falls down tray into skip bin.

What's the purpose of alternating scrap wood with already-ground-scraps?

It helps mix moist wood chips with dried chips if you using it to burn wood in your outdoor wood stove the dried wood chips would burn faster and moist would burn slower. By mixing it together you have wood fuel in the stove to burn at a controlled rate. Not too fast and not too slow.
