The battle was called the Fall of the Malvolian. In typical Lamenter fashion they protect the civilians with the help of the Mordian Iron Guard but get absolutely smashed by the nids fall of Ba'al style.

20:18 Did some random research to answer your question, but to summarize: "Cream" refers to the tastiest part of milk, the concentrated fats, and thus considered the "Best" part of the milk. "Cream" as used in "cream of the crop" uses it as a euphemism for the "Best" part of something, as in "Cream (best) of the crop" and apparently originated in France who first used "Cream" as a term to denote the best part of something.

The Lamenters sided accidentally with Huron Black Hearts Astral Claws and got eviscerated by the Minotaur chapter because of it. That's there only 'bad' action in lore. They also are susceptible to the black rage like other Blood Angel successor chapters.

@@lloydspencer7680 The Astral Claws spiralled into civil war and rebellion not out of spite for the Imperium but because the Wardens wanted do their job without the Imperium taking their forces. If they heeded the demands of the Imperium the sector would have fallen. Early in the rebellion while tensions weren't too high, the Wardens were in contact with the Imperium force headed by Lord High Commander Ortys. There was a ceasfire for negotiations and it kinda seemed like the conflict would end. The ceasefire didn't end well with both sides losing men in an ambush that both claim was the fault of the other. The theory is that a disgrunteled inquisitor set them up to settle a personal grudge which really sparked the true rebellion. The Lamenters had had been given a huge honour to be part of the Wardens of Badab, thewy were given a new home and loyal allies. They had importance and respect of the Wardens. When the Rebellion first started you could say they were in the right to honour their pledge to the Wardens. From their perspective petty elements of the Imperium had betrayed them, betraying the Emperor. None can dispute by the end that the Wardens were in the wrong. The Astral Claws committed heresy and the deepest betrayal to their fellow Astartes.

BIG fan off the canibalize skill off tyranids (eat get + stats to all off that unit type); its such an awesome mechanic for a swarm faction and allows for early game units to not be useless mid+ game. the only downside is you need multiple groups because when will just stand still and eat. would be amazing if it was a toggle and if on whenever a tyranid killed something it would immediatedly start eating it while the rest off the models in the unit would keep fighting ;D would also be a horrifying sight to fight :P but its the only kind off biomass mechanic ive seen in any rts that works well and feels like an evolution and biomass dependent race-setup. absolutely awesome ! would love to see more speed on tyranids in general as it's very out off lore that you could ever dream off outrunning a tyranid; they run easily 40-60 km/h, a human at best while sprinting is likee 43km/h without any gear, with any gear it's under 30km/h would also love tyranids to be much more dependent on melee than range; and some kind off way to heal-up big units; other races got repairs etc. tyranid should be able to simply reforge or add biomass to heal large entities (single entities). but maan dow1 UA is such a good RTS setup, in comparison to everything else on the market it is so damn well made in so many aspects and the tugofwar; forward/backwards naturally occuring due to the tiers and how tiers and armour types actually matters a lot gives some awesome gameplay ^^ building sniping is a bit too easy in many cases though, as taking down a fortified building would be a lot harder than taking down a fortified tank; which it doesn't seem to be. but again its nice that heavy big stuff doesn't just instant melt and some off the harder armoured stuff can survive a ton off hit. Not a fan off the big long legged tyranid titan, it looks really silly, wouldn't be able to move or fight etc. and there is so many cooler insect monster thing that could be done, love the snakelike titan, thats frreaking cool; although quite weak :P

There is a mod that does that. If you use the Mod Manager or DoW Online, there is a setting in the Launcher, that allows you to enable that mod without needing to download it separately.

@@davidrossa4125 yeah I've seen it but when i set it on for the bugfix version of the game or the campaign mod. It doesn't work like on the survival map with snow it doesn't have a fog. But on other maps it does have
