I really wish terminators were tougher in this mod, especially deathwing assault terminators. I was playing a game against Tau, teleported a full squad of them into their base, and they got annihilated before they could take down a listening post. It's not even worth buying terminators if they just die within seconds.

I had great game vs Tau as SM, but forgot to save replay at 1:30 am. A turret on a plasma generator, commander first, marines follow up and saving scouts for later capture. Grenades, assoult marines...

Aha, those Hammerheads have the mechanics of DKoK bunkers. Suppression. That thing shouldn't work vs vehicles, it's just too op. How do you even suppress a tank / vehicle? With that said, a very interesting match!

with the dow engine it is not possible to make weapon modifiers only work on certain unit/armour types. there is actual a modifier in the code but it just doesn't work. this is the reason why DE can poison tanks and buildings as well.

I have tanked all my settings and resolution on this mod, LAA on, in game settings (hero objective ect) switched off. Yet when I try 3v3s online with a friend my game crashes or I load into the game on my own. I can play offline 3v3s but not online. 😩 Anyone know any fixes not on the troubleshooting? I've done literally everything and its frustrating me...

Did you try 2v2 and see if that works? Certain races are more resource intensive than others, such as Emperor's Children, which will make the game more likely to crash.

@@Jumbuck1151 I can play 2v2s fine, I tested a 3v3 with a friend. We all played Space marines including the AI. It still bugged out 😐

The dudes in the uni discord are absolute heroes and there is a whole bunch of questions that have already been asked on the discord. I would highly recommend going there and using the search function to see if they can fix you issues! I would love to help, but I also could not get it working first time - hence why I asked on the discord :)

Thanks for the content, but can there be more vanilla soulstorm? 1v1s are more interesting when there's a consistent "set of rules" for factions and everything else is more dependant on players' decisions/knowledge/experience. For team fights okay - more raves/factions/etc.. But new shit every time for 1v1 like it was there for a decade... I'm not investing time in that stuff... I want to see human decisions, strategies and experience winning fights. Not factions and units, and their specials. In the other side, I found and like your commentary, but without proper games, I'M ONLY GONNA WATCH IT WHILE I WRITE THESE COMMENTS 🤣🤣🤣 Best of luck

I gotta agree with this one, love the casting and content in general, but i believe sticking to vanilla, and maybe just 1 mod like pro feks would at least for me be more enjojable. Unification, Apocalipse, vanilla and pro is just too much, and for those wating to focus on the competitive part (the reason most watch multiplayer) it would be more benefitial.

@@dumbfuckgnomeboy4643 Vanilla DOW they're single man units with a max of 3, but in the unification mod the crisis suits come in squads of two which can be made into 3 man squads + a repair drone, still have a maximum of 3 however I like unification for tau cause it makes the montka route more viable :)
