You did really well! Very much enjoyed watching you play, especially with those big units you got out :). I'm not good enough to get those kinds of units by myself. In the game a couple of days ago where I was playing Eldar, I streamed my game play and had more experienced players telling me what to build, so don't worry about it. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but what are the differences between Ultimate Apocalypse and Unification, besides Unification having more races? I tried Ultimate Apocalypse because some friends recommended it to me but I wasn't a fan. Still looking for other ways to play it though.

unification put all different mods (races) all together. Apocalypse, if i remember correctly, add a different new race and reworked all the vanillas in a different way. I didnt try it since long time and now im sticked with unification.. its so cool and im expecting new races

Ultimate Apocalypse is for people who want big flashy battles with giant Michael Bay KERPLOSIONS and Titans taking up half the map. Unification to my knowledge was designed to unite a bunch of a different mods for specific factions and make them all compatible with one another.

As it was said before, and having played both, yeah, Apocalypse is mostly about sending all these big units with big guns and big numbers and all that. It's all about trying to go as big a scale as possible, kinda like the tabletop system of the same name. Unification is closer to vanilla in terms of what it's trying to do, a more balanced experience, a more limited scale : big units are there, but it's not about making 5 baneblades and airdropping them into the enemy base. It also has a more limited, focused and... "streamlined" unit roster. And unlike UA, it feels like the units that are there are in the roster to fill a role, and not just to *add more*. P.S : It does, however, feel like UA is less crash-prone than Unification ? It has been a while since I've properly did a big game of UA, but I remember the game being able to handle 4v4s with all the big units, while with unification doing a 3v3 requires a prayer to the machine god beforehand, and depending on the map it might not like a 2v2 either. Unless I'm doing something horribly wrong.

@Daemoniaque Sounds like Unification is up my alley then. I had my friends explaining to me 'optimal' strategies but it didn't seem like any strategy I opted for even mattered in the end; didn't matter what unit I made once I made enough of them lmao.
