I'm a "Diplom-Germanist" who lived and worked in Germany many years. I sadly don't get to Germany as often as I used to, so my German is a little rusty. Don't know how I ended up on your A2 course on KZbin, but I am enjoying the refresher immensely.Your grammar lessons are excellent, and the cultural tidbits and humor you weave into everything are gold! It's like I am laughing at inside jokes only those of us who have lived in Germany would understand. Ich bedanke mich! Gut getan!

I'm the type of language learner where I can pick up languages by ear fairly quickly, but heck if I can repeat what was said or explain the grammar, such has been the case with German. This course has been great to actually get me on the path of speaking rather than just listening and understanding the language in depth. Thank you!!
Cannot wait your B1 and B2 and even C1 courses as you are really very good teacher! Thanks for your amazing work dear teacher.

@MrLAntrim2 жыл бұрын
A B1 course video is planned, but due to the amount of information in the B1 level, it will very likely be split into several chunks. I would expect a B1.1 and B1.2 video or something similar eventually. This will likely be at least a year out, however, as projects like this take time. In the meantime, my next videos will be in the B1 range. While there won't be a full course video for a while, there will be a lot of B1 content on this channel for the next year+.

I just discovered your videos. Very impressed. I am definitely a grammar nerd. Went ahead and signed up for your course online. I've always wanted to learn a language from someone who can actually give reasons for things. There are many excellent German teachers on KZbin, but none of them discusses etymology other than you. Do you have any actual physical books or workbooks that can be purchased?
@MrLAntrim Жыл бұрын
My A1 and A2 books are available as paperback books on Amazon. The A1 book allows you to download the worksheets and then you can print them yourself. The A2 book has them printed directly into the book. Although, if you just signed up for my online course, you will get access to the A1 book after your free trial ends. Then when you get to the A2 content, you will get access to the A2 book. Both of those, of course, are just the ebook versions.

@@MrLAntrimsir What do you suggest there are total of 50 parts maybe should I do 1 part daily ? And How can I remember
@MrLAntrimАй бұрын
It depends on what you are doing with the notes. Are you just taking notes and then never looking back at them? Are you making flashcards from the vocabulary? Are you using the worksheets and other materials I made available on my website via my Deutschlerner Club? I would actually recommend doing a mix of things. Watch a lesson and take notes on day 1. Make flashcards and study them on day 2. Day 3, try to use the knowledge in some meaningful way. Then start overlapping lessons. On day 2 you could take notes on your second lesson and study the vocabulary from lesson 1. On day 3 you could take notes on lesson 3, study the vocabulary from lesson 2 and write a short story or conversation using the vocabulary from lesson 1. Then you can also use a spaced-repetition app like Anki to continue to add vocabulary and make sure you don't forget older vocabulary.

There are several ways to get the extra materials for this video. Unfortunately, none of them are free, because, as Heath Ledger's Joker said, "If you are good at something, never do it for free." All of the options are available here: courses.germanwithantrim.com/ My personal recommendation (and the best value for your money) us to join my Deutschlerner Club, which grants you access to all of the materials in my A1 and A2 course as well as all of the extra materials I have created since December if 2022. courses.germanwithantrim.com/p/deutschlerner-club You can purchase the A2 course as a stand alone course and make one payment to have access to the materials forever. courses.germanwithantrim.com/p/a2-elementary-german-with-herr-antrim All of the materials also come with a purchase of my ebook or paperback book for my A2 course, but it doesn't come with the explanations to go with the worksheets.
