@@teedee5540 facts but its pretty impossible to maintain neutral buoyancy moving the way you need to to reach under a rock. Us freediving spearfishers do far more damage between fish trying to swim off and ramming into coral. This is not overhead diving. My guess is you haven't done any of this, took a few classes and talk shit you don't understand because of your rigidity in qn attempt to think all diving activities are the same 🤷‍♂️. Freedivers do way more damage, watch any freesive lobster video or coral spearfishing video and you will see far far worse. Fortunately I dive 99% fresh water where it is far less of a concern. TL:DR this buoyancy is jo different than freedivers use for lobsters so go shitbon them in the comments for this freediving.

As a California FreeDiving Lobster hunter, I just don't see the sport in it. They have Air Tanks, Ticklers, Snares and Personal WaterCraft so they do not even have to swim for themselves. I'd rather come home empty handed from a good sporting Free Dive than snare myself some Lobster and have look at myself in the mirror the next day.

In Florida you don’t catch by hand. long spined sea urchin, stingray and skates, morey eels, fish hooks and a tendency to break off antennas and rough up the coral. Only net hand and snare down here. You can use your hands but rarely do people take that risk. Free diving and scuba or third lungs totally acceptable.

@@hunsadersrockinranch my bad, i was watching a different video they didnt take too many and when you learn the fisheries all you really need is an hour to catch you dinner, i do it regularly while working a full time job, so time isn't too much of an issue. I just don't like scuba divers, these guys were good but down here in the keys most people that come down and scuba dive take whatever they can find and are really hurting my hometowns ecosystem. Every year we catch some one with 600 or so lobster most undersized and they were diving, thats just the ones we catch. Freediving just makes it harder and keeps all the tourons and googans away.
