"G-G-Generation" is a reference to The Who's song "My Generation" which shares the same sentiment but from the 60's. So your point about it generations not understanding each other is very apt. Also a side note about the band, their DJ (not the one at this performance), was DJ Lethal, who was also in House of Pain.

My only chance to see them was at the Big Day Out in Melbourne, Australia in 2001, but tragically a girl died in the crowd at their Sydney show and subsequently they cancelled the rest of their shows for the festival. They were HUGE back in the early 00’s

we had tickets in the crappiest seats in the dome (500 level, WAY tf up there) and when limp bizkit took the stage fred durst told everyone that wasn't on the floor to get on the floor. it was a stampede down the stadium ramps and security just backed off at the bottom. there were so many people jumping in unison on the floor that i stopped jumping and the floor was tossing me in the air like a trampoline. i've seen some mosh pits but the scale of the ones there was crazy. i wasn't big enough to shove people into the middle at that time. 🤣
