One thing thats missing from a lot of Reacts is context. This song, for example, was essentially 2Pac’s reintroduction to the world after being in jail. The image he had prior to jail is radically different from the image he puts out here. This is the image of a man on a quest for revenge, and that knew his time was coming soon. It was also representative of gangsta rap in the 90s west era. Yes, technically California Love was his breakout, as I believe it was his first single after joining Death Row, but this is the one that solidified his image, and it was the first track on this album. This is the 2Pac people remember most, even though it was the least lived.

Facts...Pac had an unbelievable ability to put you in whatever mood he was feeling, and this album was him putting certain people on notice. It's a shame that misinformation, misunderstandings, and misgivings caused us to lose two of the greatest in Hip Hop.

Facts. When he did Killuminati, he said thats the music he really wanted to make. All Eyez on Me was just to get those songs done to pay back Suge. Even tho the album is still an absolute classic. What I love about 90’s rap artists is, when you heard a song, you knew exactly who it was, they each had their own style-Tupac, Biggie, Bone thugs and harmony, etc. these days everybody sounds the same, nobody has a unique sound that’s easily identifiable to the artist which is why I don’t listen to today’s rap music. Love your reactions!
