@@sinsagoodmansbrother I don't know if those are things that can improve over time, but even if you listen to Saving All My Love For You (when Whitney was just a couple years older than Lucy is now), her voice was way more mature and dynamic than Lucy's is now. There are worse problems a singer can have than falling just short of Whitney though, and we could be getting decades of brilliance from her still.

Many covers of this song don’t carry the emotion of the original.. this cover has the whole range of emotions and sing techniques of the original, also still maintaining Lucy’s voice rather than a karaoke cover most do

I have long been a huge fan of Whitney and believed firmly that no one would ever surpass her phenomenal voice and her rendition of this song. I've heard many try and many of them did an amazing job. But then there's Lucy. Lucy is the ONLY person I have ever heard do this that not only nailed it - but actually surpassed ... clearly and easily ... Whitney's masterpiece. @@FG-fk6jb there is a problem. Singers that have already a bit of fame, tend to not accept songs from producers, they usually don't answer emails or dm s . Probably they want to work with well known producers only. This is what i have experienced. That's why i don't bother singers anymore.
