This song was written for the 1944 movie Meet Me In St. Louis starring Judy Garland. In the past 78 years, it has been recorded by scores of artists including Ol' Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra. I have heard many singers tackle this song but ,in my opinion, Lucy's interpretation is by far the best. What sets Lucy apart from other singers is something that cannot be taught even with all the vocal training in the world. Lucy gives every song which she sings everything she has got. She sings from the heart. That is why so many commenters on her videos say she has a beautiful spirit or soul. It is a privilege and pleasure to listen to the musical masterpieces which Lucy creates.

Wow, where do I start, such rarity.? I’d turn off the sound, watching Lucy sing her natural beauty is unbelievably mesmerizing. Then I close my eyes turn up the sound her singing is also unbelievably mesmerizing. As my sound is turned up, I open my eyes and just sit there in awl. As I'm listening I think of the wonderful Christmas I had when I was young as things were much simpler back in the sixties. It was about sharing, love, hugs, gathering of family and friends.
