I lost mine 3 years ago this Xmas. I wouldn’t say it gets easier but the pain does numb over time mate. You never forget the cherished times you had with them though. My favourite memory is going to his work on a Saturday where we bought discounted timber and made a folding model train set board together which actually still worked years later when we left it there for the next family to enjoy when we sold the house. Good memories like that stay with you. And it’s good to reflect on the good times.

I have listened to 10 versions of O Holy Night to see if I could find a male voice deliver the same feeling I got listening to Lucy & Martha ............none came close! Those who love Jesus as their Lord, want to fall on our knees when we hear those words...and Martha & Lucy hit me like a strong wind knocking me over onto my knees to worship! I just sat down with my mother and showed her the video and she cried and we cried together as we listened. She's a woman of God and said it's so beautiful to see the youth of our world bring hope to our hearts by singing such an amazing song of our lord. Completely agree, her voice is improving both technically and in the maturity of tone as quickly as Lucy's voice was at a similar age.
