2017 OU with the 2019 defense (LSU was a one off where it was one of the greatest teams of all time against a depleted defense, LSU attacked the depleted areas and kicked our ass because LSU had smart coordinators) wins the National Title. No Sooner will ever forgive Mike Stoops for costing us multiple championship shots.... what a damn year though, I will never forget this team.

My mom was never a football fan, but she watched OU games because of my obsession. She watched the Rose Bowl by herself, calling me throughout the game. Four days later she was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer. She passed away two days before Baker's birthday this year. I'm so glad she got to enjoy watching him play. Boomer.

If Oklahoma’s defense could pull out a stop or two, and do just a couple productive things, I’d have no doubt in my mind they could give bama(even with how insane and almost untouchable they are this year) all they can handle. And if we beat West Virginia on the road and then beat them again the next week in the championship, we’ll have this matchup. Because I don’t believe both notre dame AND Michigan are gonna win out.
