What a special place. Just cannot believe the sizes of some these Japanese maples. It reminds one to give them room between each other. I will be watching this video multiple times. Thank you for sharing this special place with us today.

@@MrMapleShow yes I noticed it was restocked because I did get notified but I’m actually in Japan right now on holiday for a couple of weeks with my family so I’m 12 hrs ahead and missed it!! 🥲 It’s been REALLY hot here (feels like temperature above 100s), so not very good for visiting gardens or the monkey forest unfortunately. Luckily my husband can speak a fair bit of Japanese though and we are still having a great time - I’ll sign up to get notified again!!

They are all so well pruned. Not my style at all. Part of the charm of these trees is the structure of the wood. (As in bonsai) and I tend to choose them not just for their leaves, buy their trunks as well. What a wonderful place!
@MrMapleShow10 ай бұрын
I agree. One of the rules of this garden when I was purchased was to keep the trees. Many have been cut back to keep them in this garden. We discuss it at the top of the video
