Random fact: the playable character was originally going to use weapons to fight the enemies, but Schwarzenegger personally protested against it. That's why all the enemies are well-armed and have the upper hand.

Haha, that's something quite common. I couldn't beat most of the games I have uploaded when I was a child. Now it's different, I understand the games' mechanics better and I have more patience. Anyway, this game is mainly boring and repetitve, so the worst enemy is BOREDOM, haha.

Clayvion White Indeed. This game is horrible. Boring, simple and repetitive. There's nothing really good about it, just the challenge of beating it if you like difficult games. Games based on films are usually this bad.

+Glacius Ice Spirit I agree it is not a good game. I always liked the movie and there was definitely potential to make a good Last Action Hero game. More than likely this game is a product of being rushed to just reach the deadline. I thought the Game Boy & Game Gear versions was a step in the right direct but it is just decent overall. I would love to see how the unreleased Sega CD version would have turned out. Judging from the screen shots that was shown in some magazines, it looks like it could have been the best Last Action Hero game.

I like this game. Ok, I prefer many other 90s games to this one (Demolition Man, The Shadow, Dick Tracy, RoboCop, Judge Dredd, No Escape etc) but The Last Action Hero was entertaining

irina1296 I don't really like this game. I think is too repetitive and frustrating. The only thing that made me finish the game was the challenge. Some of the games you mentioned are a lot better, like for example some of the RoboCop games or Dick Tracy for the Megadrive. Oh, and Arnold looks like Bill Murray here, haha.

Back on the Spectrum 128K, games like Termintor 2 used to be something like £9.99 on release, then the Amiga games could be upto £25, but way back on NES, a game called Maniac Mansion was priced at £79.99. But back then gaming cost a lot to make but didn't have the audience. Now gaming is huge which is why the prices are probably more reasonable. Saying that though, in Australia games can still cost well over $100 which is just way too costly. But again this could be because gaming in Australia isn't as big as it is in the UK or US, so they have to make the profit back. Or more than likely it's just pure retail greed.

the least damaging enemy attack in this game are the guns. . . I wonder if that was intentional, because in the Jack Slater Cinematic Universe, gunshots are just a flesh wound. could they have been that clever? nah, this game sucks what a piece of shit. I have yet to see a (retro) video game based on a movie, that was actually good. . . the shwarzenegger games are among the worst of the worst. Predator Total recall., Total recall is the worst game ever made, seriously. I would rather play qwop while being anally impaled than have to play totall recall on the nes ever again. these games are below LJN quality. . yes, I went there. A team of Laughing Joking Numbnuts sitting under a rainbow of shit, make better games than this. in fact...I actually lied. I did find a game based on a movie that was halfway decent. I liked Friday the 13th on the nes, by LJN. I also kind of like nightmare on elm street as well.
