Thank you for this video. I spent nearly 20hrs trying to figure out why IPv6 and link-local would not complete. With the information that was provided in this lab they should have completed. The issue is, as you pointed out, with labs using 172 and 10 network addressing. If it wasnt for your video I do not believe I would have ever figured this out. It took nealy an hour of refreshing to get a 128 scheme, but when I finally did I had the lab completed in less than 25 mins. Thank you!

Oh man, the 172 and 10 versions of this messed me up for hours! Thanks so much for posting this video. It helped me finish this!

Same. Thanks for confirming that 10 has issues too. I spent 3 hours troubleshooting IPv6 addresses and vlan1 on the 10 version of this before I broke down and searched KZbin. Heard the warning about the 172 and decided to just refresh until I got this topology. Worked on the first try.

A good percentage of the video was spent listening to you typing without seeing what you were typing.

stuck on part to figure out the ip address for vlan 1. watch almost all videos about this lab then the only plausible way is how you solve it with trial and error. Is there no other way?
@ncodr3 жыл бұрын
Trial and error is the only way for this network without further information being given in the topology or the scenario, or providing further comment in the course module regarding industry best practice for numbering conventions. 254 possible hosts in each subnet, .1 is usual for the router and the two other hosts are the PCs .25 & .30. A valid vlan IP would therefore be anything else that is unused in the same subnet, in my case .15 meets the success requirements for the Check Results.

Horribly slow. Not clear on what the process is. Obvious he's guessing his way through things.
