3:45 fucking brutal, surprised that they showed the heroes doing that in a kids’ show. Guess Rex was already sick and tired of the shit the Umbarans were pulling, or just couldn’t spare the manpower and time to keep prisoners.

Check out some of the stories the US Marines had to deal with while fighting the Imperial Japanese forces. If you had to deal with even half of that, the idea of taking prisoners seems hilariously quaint.

we see them keep prisoners when they take over the umbaran base, but thats probably just because they the base had free cells they could use, which is a pretty great depiction since it just shows thats your morality changes based on the situation youre in

Umbara is Vietnam war, only that the Umbara people are consider to be " the shadow people" because of the entire forest that surrounds the entire planet. Its like the Vietcons unit using tactics in the jungle. The Umbara have amazing technology base on the entire animal ecosystem in the planet, that clearly gives them a big advantage.

The Umbarans and their weird technology is so alien and unsettling. Which is no small feat concidering it's Star Wars.

This battle demonstrated how incredibly trained and disciplined the clone army is... more specifically, the 501st and 212th... Since I watched these episodes, they became part of my favorites.
@gianttacogod7 ай бұрын
Yeah this is definitely meant to be a vietnam style conflict. Similar to vietnam, the Umbran troops relied on suprise attacks and ambushes to win because American had better firepower and combat discipline. Similar to this even if the Umbarans kept losing, (like in vietnam) they would demoralize the clones to the point a lot of the clones got really tilted as seen in this clip.
