The first mistake that Kevin pointed out isn't a joke. If I told someone I'm going to throw myself under the bus, they would think I've lost my mind. I'm certain that this channel is the best for learners to avoid embarrassing situations like that.

Marina should pay a lot of tuition to Kevin as a student instead of deceiving people to pay her for her broken English lesson. I hope all who had paid her would get refund they deserve. If not, a malpractice lawyer should sue her for the damages she had caused to all of us who learned incorrect English.

These are not basics, generally speaking. As the title says, it's advanced. So, at the B1-B2 level you can still make those mistakes, but at the C1 level - no longer.

Only explanation I can think of is that she brings on her own language and translate that into English...for example...putting articles, where she shouldn't and vice versa.

I honestly don't understand. She has so much money, and she lives in the US. Why wouldn't she have those scripts reviewed by a native speaker to avoid mistakes? or at least ask Chat GPT... That's what I always do when I translate or post something important.
