@ English 101, everyday English, English with Thiago, Real life English. They're all great. Books: if you are on the B level, you can start with American or English literature. Pay close attention to every sentence you read, do assignments - written and spoken - based oj what you're reading. Ask chatgpt to create them

I have a real desire to be at an advanced level in English, (I dream of being good almost as a native) so I won't get bored by people explaining the methods and needs of this, please Marina, continue making such long videos and gather it all in a playlist and those who truly want to get the advanced level would care about all of it.

The hardest part of learning english is not the english itself, but we don't know what to say. That's why self tak, try to intoduce yourself nicely through random ometv chat, and try to tell something or write something in your own language then covert it to english everyday are important.
@sarah05k38

Precisely in middle school, I had an English teacher who once said not to always focus on translating what we want to express, like thinking first about what we want to say in our native language and then translating it into English. Well, at first, it is important to know the equivalents of expressions, questions, and answers that are commonly used in small talk or simple conversations, but that is more the case for a beginner. However, other learners should directly try to think in English in order to make proper use of English grammar. This is more often the case for languages similar to English or those that come from Latin. But sometimes, people who have a higher level but are still learning might be more likely to make some grammatical errors, thinking that English follows the same rules because of the similarity of the languages, and then translate what they want to say into English without changing the structure of their phrases. Or, there is the other case where some expressions exist in their native languages but not in English, have a completely different meaning, or, conversely, the meaning of those expressions is conveyed in another form

I’m a native English speaker. Sometimes KZbin doesn’t notify people when other people reply to their comments, so I may not get yours, but if you’re reading my comment, and you’re learning English, and you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask, and I’ll answer them the best I can. I know it can be a hard language to learn, but I’m happy to help as a native English speaker. Any questions you’ve had on your mind, ask them all. I’ll even correct your comments for you if you’re not confident in your replies to me, so that you can study how I did that too

I’m having a REALLY hard time figuring out which preposition to use in each case. Like, should I say to or for? Or at, or on? Or in? I’m a native Portuguese speaker and in Portuguese we use the same words for on/at/in and for for/to, so I’m getting crazy rn. I know that stuff like: you use “in” when there’s something inside somewhere. You use “on” when there’s something above a surface. But there are some cases where u can’t use these definitions

To improve any language from an intermediate to advanced lvl, you first need to reach an Upper lvl. You can't just skip a lvl and move on to an advanced one, that will actually raise negative emotions within you, as the material will be too hard for you. Don't fall for all these "tips" and marketing strategies. Good pieces of advice, however ...)

The phrase "you need to be able to" can sound awkward or overly formal because of its structure. It's quite direct and a bit stilted, which can make it feel less conversational. It also has a slightly repetitive feel, as it uses both "need" and "able to," which can be seen as redundant. To make the sentence flow more smoothly, you could consider using simpler or more direct phrases like: - "You should be able to..." - "It's important to be able to..." - "Make sure you can..." These alternatives provide the same meaning in a more natural, conversational way.

Both “if I were” and “if I was” can be correct, but they are used in different contexts. • “If I were” is used in the subjunctive mood, which is often used for hypothetical or unreal situations. For example: “If I were a bird, I would fly to the highest mountain.” • “If I was” is used in the indicative mood, which is used for statements of fact or reality. For example: “If I was late to the meeting, I apologize.” In formal writing and speech, “if I were” is generally preferred for hypothetical situations. However, in casual conversation, you might hear “if I was” used interchangeably.

This video is awesome! I LOVE all the informations presented throughout your video. It appears that you really master what you have told us. I will try to watch it again and write down all details, then I will try to apply it to my study and make it as an additional method for me to advanced my english. Eventhough I'm not sure on which level is actually my english skill haha. I'm writing this review as a part of my exercise in writing. I'm not using any correction AI for now but after I finish and post this review, I will ask ChatGPT to score and fix the sentence, and I'm gonna post the correction below this comment so anyone who might see this comment in the future can also take some notes. haha. Have a nice day, Marina! (anyone, feel free to also give score and correct my english. Thankss guys!)
