Does this "teacher" have at least B2? She is terrible. She is translating the sentences from Russian to English and in Russian they are correct, but in English, they are completely wrong. Those mistake are done by the people who have A2 level.

Thanks a lot for this video too, which enlightens us about the wrong guidance of a bogus teacher youtuber. I think all English learners on this channel can see the mistakes made by this Russian lady (who is posing as a well-qualified English teacher) and they will be able to avoid such mistakes. The mentor Kevin has been showing her mistakes here on this channel for a long time and when we see them we feel that she has not acquired the necessary skills and qualifications in the use of English language. She sounds like a native speaker, but what she speaks is not correct. We can clearly see that they are broken English and not perfect English. Here actually learners are not expected to be perfect in English hundred percent when speaking. If they can speak in a manner that the other person(s) can understand, that's enough. But just think... this lady is a teacher teaching English to a large number of people on her channel. If a teacher teaches wrong English in this manner, what would happen to his or her students? A disaster....

Hi Kevin and Liza, Would you consider a slightly different format for these videos? Instead of "Avoid mistakes by..." you would call them "Find mistakes by...". The idea is that you would let us listen to an excerpt from a blogger's video and ask us to identify one or more mistakes there. You would then make a pause to let us think about it. And then you would give us the answer. I think that would make your videos much more fun. Thanks!

" pick up your prescription..." doesn't make sense. Pick up your prescribed medicine at the pharmacy? Yes. But prescription? which is a piece of paper given to you by a doctor, or sent to a pharmacy electronically.
@fredylopez24773 ай бұрын
Well, in my country you never pick up a prescription, THE DOCTOR GIVES YOU THE PRESCRIPTION WHEN YOU VISIT HIM/HER, then you go to the drugstore to get (buy) the medicine. And I'm not shouting I'm just emphasizing that's why I texted it in capital letters. Well, I think that despite the fact that "prescription" has another meaning, context makes the difference, I don't know why "prescription" makes no sense.
@Tony323 ай бұрын
It's correct, the pharmacy fills in the prescription and you pick it up.

Learn basic idioms and phrasal verbs, no need to learn many words, it will come naturally. memorize 1-3 sentences that use the most difficult to understand and remember tenses, there're 12, you know. Then all you need to do is to change verbs or nouns in your sentences, not the structure. That applies for conditionals as well. Get on Arnel's everyday English "IF: The Conditionals in English" and memorize few to "cement" the sentence structure. I did, and I speak fluent English, well, 90%. .
@fredylopez24773 ай бұрын
The only way to reach fluency and confidence is PRACTICING, I mean, you gotta speak English all the time, constantly, it's got nothing to do with the number of words you have to learn. Of course, you've got to learn vocabulary but the number of words doesn't have anything to do with that. Well I forgot something very essential and relevant, Of course, you gotta study Basic Grammar and Phonetics and if someone tells you you don't have to, they're lying or they don't know what they're talking about but, things got to be congruent, you gotta study but you've got to practice what you study at the same time.

@@SantaMaria-j3u "there're" I think even when you're speaking you gotta say "there ARE".
