It seems tragic to me that those questions about his creativing proces had to be asked ON A COURT and not on an interview. The interviews always cared only about his private life and the rumors surrounding him. So sad.

It's great to hear MJ talking in his normal voice, too. Hearing him in this case humanises him a bit more from the legend he became. Normal voice, insight into his songwriting process (Otherworldly in its own right but still a legit process.. ie .. human) and his clear joy when singing and explaining the song writing process, even to a court. Incredibly sad the way his story ended. There can never be anything close to what MJ was in our lifetime, I daresay.

MJ couldn't read music?!?! Wow, that's a revelation. He composed all of that stuff and just showed the musicians what he wanted through his vocal recordings or just by explaining in person I guess. That's pretty amazing. It's just that so many of his songs are so damn technical and complicated, which is why a lot of them sound so great. I thought it would be easier to write the different parts down and give it to a musician.

I didn't know streetwalker evolved into dangerous and I didn't know MJ could drive. It's stupid how we never got to hear about all these things as fans because in interviews they only asked about rumours and allegations.
@marydork493
@marydork493 5 жыл бұрын
I knew that he was capable of driving. I remember reading a news article about how he was unable to get car insurance in Ca. due to the fear of him inadvertently causing car accidents by being a distraction for other drivers or drivers purposefully driving into him in the hopes of a lawsuit. I think he had to cough up $250k in order to be eventually insured.

He used to drive a white two door Chevy trailblazer SUV.. ppl didn’t expect Michael Jackson to be driving that.. it had a great sound system & a phone in the front. It was a “guy’s car”. His daughter Paris now drives a similar two door jeep. He would often drive at 2 am at night for privacy, he would drive himself from a Neverland to LA.. a 2 hr drive. The first car he bought & drove was a Rolls Royce & then a black Mercedes. His SUV broke down on one such drive which led him to that fateful meeting with Jordan Chandler that ruined his life.

It really very sad that MJ had to go through these depositions -- just to protect what he did for a living. People in general are so greedy - they will try to take an person down and try steal something that is not theirs! MJ has away's had a rare special gift when it come to writing, singing and dancing. Even MJ parents knew this when MJ was a small child is why his Father made sure he was the lead singer of the group. MJ pour heart was damaged by so many people he trusted. Very Sad our world is like this --

Sherry Saunders Unfortunately when you become a famous singer people come out and say they wrote a hit song and want money. I remember Tori Amos saying a man sued her saying he wrote cornflake girl. She had the lyrics written down in a journal many years prior to the album being done. What is also crazy, the first hit album Adele had, the ex-boyfriend said he deserved money because he was the inspiration.

This only goes to prove the true genius of the legend the one and only Michael Jackson, RIP, any flaws made in his life only showed us, reminded us that he was only human, just like me and you, and how many of us can truthfully say that we are perfect, that we've never put a foot wrong or made a mistake, anyone who says that's them is either a liar or not human (so in other words a liar) it is human to make mistakes, as the saying goes "No-one is Perfect" forget his normal natural flaws and give credit to his unbelievable talent, what he brought to the world will live on forever, continuing to put at least a smile if not a "tap" on anyone who hears his music, I for one am thankful and eternally grateful that Michael Jackson was and will always be a part of my world/life, his music is the best medicine especially for depression in my opinion, long live MJ truly one of a kind, Middlesbrough U.K.

While I find his having to endure such ridiculous questioning regarding lawsuits so painful, the beauty of this testimony is that we catch a rare glimpse of a true genius at work. Wasn't it sad that trustworthy people couldn't have interviewed him to speak at length about how he created music? He's utterly fascinating! How can it be that he was cruelly murdered? He was such a beautiful gift to the world--never, ever to be repeated! We'll miss you forever, Michael. Forever.

Wow, this is how a genius compose a song - all inside his head .... just dropped into his lap like that (5:35). Phenomenal. Maybe nature has all the creativeness hanging in the air, all you need is to, tap into nature. Same goes to Einstein searching for his theories, one night the idea just stuck him. When I say nature, is it something that is alive (not the nature of the world) ... some forces that is shaping the world.

Woofie Pup lol,hahaha, you'll believe anything a blogger tells you, so far as it says "an expert says". 1. A psychologist is not suppose to comment on anyone's mental health to the public, so if anyone should, wouldn't you think they are a sham?(It's illegal to even do that and a breach of an expert's medical ethics & integrity) 2. It's impossible to draw conclusions on someone, as a psychologist, without any one on one interview. 3. The only psychologist that was able to interview MJ was Dr. Stan Katz, which was during the alleged child molestation trial, he was a child psychologist who was contacted and brought in by the plaintiffs themselves, and he said he didn't consider Jackson a pedophile but a "regressed 10-year-old." And after 14 weeks of testimonies and extreme investigations of MJ's private life including his genitalia(a very perversed form of investigation) he was found 'Not Guilty'. So stop trying to ruing another human's life if you have no 'real' evidence.

Can you ask a painter to explain how brush strokes create mozaics? Can you ask an actor how he acts the great plays? How in the world can you get Michael Jackson to explain how a song is created? I'm glad he got the point across.

My mother was the personal secretary for Daniel Hoffman the trial attorney and The voice interviewing Michael Jackson Daniel s Hoffman he was the dean of the DU law School and there is a mock courtroom there named after him. This is not a deposition this is recordings from the court day itself I have copies of all the audio in the entire case

People wonder how he could write so many hits, and it’s because he wrote so many clunkers that never saw the light of day. He wrote 60-70 songs that never made it onto the “Bad” album, which only had 11 tracks on the original release, and only 6 of those went Gold or better. If you look at the ratio of 6/11 that’s a hit ratio of 55%-but if you consider that there were as many as 80 songs by his recollection, then it’s actually more like 7.5%. If you spread the number of songs he wrote over the course of his career the percentage probably drops even lower, and once you’ve done the math you realize that it has a lot more to do with hard work, than it does with his natural talent, or the fact that he clearly possessed perfect pitch! It’s probably a considerably higher percentage than other folks out there writing songs, but it’s a numbers game that you’ll eventually win if you put enough effort into it.

I suppose that's why he's in th Song Writers Hall of Fame. And he was only a child prodgy that only grew up to be a global mega -star who is in the dancers hall of fame & every other other hall of fame - Only took 45 years of hard work. He was born with natural talent oozing from every pore in his body.

@@Angela-gc3kr I agree he was talented, but the way you describe it sounds kinda gross. If that's an accurate description of what it's like when you're the best, then I'd personally prefer to reach a level somewhere below that, where nothing is oozing or weeping from anywhere on my body.
