Google Assistant has been so enshittified these days. I used to be able to say "Hey Google, I need a ride home." and then it used to reply something along the lines of, "You haven't setup your [ridesharing app or preferences or whatever]. To do so, visit [some settings page]." Implying that if only there had been a ridesharing company operating in my area, I could've just asked and it would've found me a ride.

Here’s a Mr. Mobile laptop video I want - a comparison between all the alternative form factor laptops (the Lenovo, the asus, etc). Then at the end, throw in a comparison to a MacBook + an iPad (used as a second screen via sidecar) as a wildcard. Anyway, I’m all in for what you select, Fisher. Been watching you since the early Pocketnow days. Happy 2024.

That Asus Zenbook seems like the best and most finalized version of any dual-screen laptop ever unveiled. It's the first that I can picture myself using as it all just seems to be packaged so well and such a hassle-free form factor. Just so happen to be needing a new laptop and that price seems very reasonable for it, so I might grab one. Are there any plans to review one in the future? No pressure, make what you want, but I would definitely be willing to watch one from you on it if you did.

So the rabbit & the pebble are definitely the two things that I was most interested in going into this video. The rabbit is kind of like a combination of what voice assistant should be along with a little bit of Windows phone not having to switch out after after app over and over. And the pebble I had read about a long time ago and seen videos on but it was good to see people interact with it. So I am definitely interested in seeing a video on it. That ring however is also very interesting and something that I hadn't expected to be interested in. I also noticed the meta glasses on and I'm interested in knowing how they performed in an environment like that where it feels like they would be extremely useful.

Man, this CES was genuinely filled with interesting stuff. The Rabbit is probably the star of the show, partnering with teenage engineering was a genius marketing move. It remains to be seen if it's useful at all, but I definetely want to see you review it. The Asus dual screen notebook looks fantastic. It's the first Laptop since the release of apple silicon that has tempted me away from apple (which is saying a lot, because switching os is a pain). I'd love to see a longer term review of that, because all windows laptops with weird form factors rise and fall with their ability to get windows to play ball. The pebble is alright I guess. It seems interesting, sure, but it also gives me very distinct "silicon valley vc funded software startup" vibes, which doesn't really work for hardware companies. I remain skeptical, but we'll see.
