i dont see an apple to apple comparison. hire purchase you include everything like maintenance but subscription you did not where it actually require you to add 100 a month based on your video. another point is when you sell your car for hire purchase let say 50k you did no deduct that to your total. not a good comparison....

it's because based on his calculation - the remaining loan is 67k but the value of the car is only 50k. so still need to fork out another 17k to settle the loan.

Yes if ur into new car. It’s gonna be worth it! :) if gonna compared with a used car then definately used car is cheaper n lower cost (not taking service n maintenance into account)

I have a car via subscription, its an EV. Subscription includes insurance, road tax, charging subscription at most charge stations in the UK and breakdown cover (car issues = car gets picked up, company gets you a taxi to nearest car hire company and pays for the hire and fuel used during until your car is repaired or replaced 😀)

I think if you're a car kind of person, and want to have the freedom to go anywhere and having the time to have fun with the car on the track, you would want to own a used car at the end of the day. This plan they made was brilliant for people who drive to work everyday and not having to worry about paying or fixing any problems with their cars. Heck even car loans.

Excellent video man. Been waiting for this. Many people say "But after I pay off the loan, there's no more hire purchase cos whereas with subscription you will always have to pay" i guess there's too many variables to discuss on a video like this eg; your maintenance cost could be way higher for a 7 year old car as compared to the early years of owning the car. Great video.
