No, he's not. He and Liam always thought they were "cool as fuck", but are both unpleasant human beings, even if they do have a bit of musical talent. Remember, Noel humiliated and insulted Michael Hutchence of INXS at the Brit Awards when Michael handed him an award. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJOmg2icja-VeJo. Noel was DISGUSTINGLY rude and behaving so horribly towards someone, particularly in such a public situation with so many people watching what he said and did, was appalling and totally inexcusable. Michael was at a particularly vulnerable time of his life, being hounded by the press about his relationship with Paula Yates, Bob Geldof bad-mouthing him (because Paula had dumped him for Michael), etc, etc, so that public humiliation, watched and heard by millions of people, could have been one of the factors that pushed Michael over the edge to kill himself the following year. Ironically, Noel's vile, rude, sneering, arrogant behaviour only showed him up for what he really is, yet Michael was THE truly gifted, charismatic, blessed one of the two of them and HE was the REAL rock star, NOT Noel or his equally repulsive, delusional brother Liam.

@@amandabooth7636 Vintage OASIS music oozes with the voice of Liam; Champagne Supernova ,arguably, defines his high-water mark for vocally enrapturing mellifluence . BUT , your seemingly unchangeable ,negatively prejudiced , impassioned , personal opinion about the Oasis primary songwriter, Noel, notwithstanding, it is NOEL'S voice that sings DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER!!! Liam's ATTITUDE continues to captivate popular opinion; an obsessively self-styled acolyte of John Lennon ,Liam's swagger and bad boy rebellious ,James Dean-like defiance, sexily sparks intriguing interest in his each and every move, but it eventually becomes stale and flat with age ; like putrid wine without even a fizzle. Noel's singing of DON'T LOOK BACK is worthy of a better appraisal of Noel, as a crooner.

The older one is more responsible when there is skirmishes between siblings. That's the rule.of conservative parents. The older one should be the one to understand more. He should be a good example.to.the younger ones. Liam is great in interpreting and delivering the songs written by Noel, they should be put in equal pedestal. To Noel and Liam: "He Ain't Heavy, He's my Brother".

Their father beat their mother, Paul (the eldest) and Noel. They all left the father before Liam was subjected to that abuse as he was quite young. I think Liam has always been jealous of Noel and hasn’t been able to reconcile that. He was constantly dive bombing Oasis’ career with his behavior of not wanting to play crucial concert dates and party trouble. If you notice in interviews Liam calls that being “rock and roll.”
