I'd love to have seen Noel meet Kurt Cobain. I have no doubt in my mind that Kurt would have hated Oasis and it would've been a stunningly funny conversation
@justinhopper5941 Жыл бұрын
I don’t know if he would have hated them when it comes to music. Oasis’s music takes a huge inspiration from the Beatles. Oasis wrote very catchy songs like them. Kurt also loved the Beatles and they inspired his on songwriting. I guess none of us actually knew Kurt so we don’t know what he would really love or hate for certain though haha.
@toddblanks Жыл бұрын
@@justinhopper5941 I totally agree. Great bands always take some sort of inspiration from one another, and it doesn't always have to be only about the music. Music isn't only about the odd song. Its very skillfully complex to write good music. Chord progressions, hmm😎

I love bands that keep it real. Write their own music. Play their own music. And always play live never mimed. And play it loud. Noel ticks all the Boxes. Oasis ticked all the boxes.

Noel has stated many times that he doesnt care about lyrics and the music is always first. He said he was high and had no idea what it meant. He makes fun of his lyrics, he's aware of them.

Are you trying to say you don't get the meaning of that lyric? Coz you've clearly never been on hard drugs.

Oasis played 2 gigs in 2 days with 125,000 people at each in 1997. To compare Oasis with Nirvana is dumb, they both recorded and released 3 studio albums that made huge impacts on the music industry for different reasons, either for good or bad. they completely took over the world musically and i love them both

Bullshit. He lied his way to success early on. Ask any member of the group ‘the real people’ he’s a narcissistic, song stealing, bellend.
