Aye m8, fantastic job again Helder. To make a top quality finish a decent amount of time sure is needed. When watching your videos, I often want to be in every minute and the time saving editing parts, like speeding up the tempo, feels unnecessary for me. Thank you for the upload. I have been enjoying your videos for a while now and it encouraged me to get back into spearfishing again after a few years being out of the water. Being under lock down i have been spending some more time planing projects and i was thinking of building a smaller speargun to use on shallow dives. I will need to use some of the tricks you are demonstrating to ease the build process.

Always been following the project/prototype. Great skills. You always pushing the machinery to the extent for shaping. Why the speargun is built from laminated wood rather than solid block of wood used for gunstock?

Hello Orca A. I´m planning to impregnate the wood as much as possible, with diluted varnish to create a harder surface that will preserve the speargun against the inevitable scratches. Thanks for participating.

@@MrMyvids4you vernish is more bling-bling probably more prettier but if your gun meet punch, vernish can brake and water pénétrer. You can use epoxy or, oil de lin, terpentine et siccativo..not so shiny and beautiful as vernish but much stronger and resistant. Regards from south 🇫🇷

It’s an ok timber if you wrap it in fibreglass (it’s soft) My preferred timber would be teak, merbau and any hardwood. Douglas fur can be used laminated. But just like here plywood is used. Laminated timber is where you get strength. I hope this helps.

Olá David S. I used marine Okoume plywood, but if possible use solid wood preferable teak, mahogany or other naturally water resistant wood, the plywood was just a test! Thanks for the comment and for watching.
