How to Make a Wooden Speargun -Part 7- Making stainless Steel Parts

Making stainless parts for the wooden spearguns that i´m building, including the side brackets for the rollers, line guides, anchors for the rubber dyneema line , handle grip plates and much more!
All the parts are made from 316 grade stainless steel, sanded down to 600 grit sandpaper polished with a buffing wheel and finaly jewled!
I also used some easy to make jigs to simplefy the making of some parts and to get consistente part sizes.

I have milled some walnut from a tree in my yard and plan to mill some ash from another tree in my yard. The S. G. of ash is high and walnut is moderate. With S. S. parts I will try to get a neutral S. G. total gun. I would like to have 3 spear guns of increasing sizes. Single Short, Medium single roller , and Power dual roller. Walnut looks great, Ash has a high S.G. and is strong. I plan to laminate both to make knock out guns. I am Working on what size I need the Ash milled to minimize work. I want to try to shape the walnut most and ash the least to lower my work load. I would like to use some of your ideas to make the prototypes. I also will laminate one sheet of thin fiberglass between the wood layers. I plan to use a commercial trigger for all three guns. I only need a drill press to complete my work shop for the guns. I am looking for one. Please think of me in future videos.

Hello Chrs Rodz, that will not be possible but I can give you some dimensions for it. - The trigger housing dimensions= 13x30x65mm, wall thickness: 2mm Trigger and Sear= 5mm thick. All made from 316 grade stainless steel Some of my channel viewers told me, that by using any free screen recorder program to take "screen shots" from some of my videos, and then using a image editing program like "PAINT" to scale the images to get the right sizes. The roller speargun: 1200mm long (end to end) 950mm from the centre of the rollers to the edge of the trigger pocket 50mm wide --------- Traditional speargun, 1200m long 950mm from the edge of the rubber bands hole to the trigger pocket 50mm wide from the but plate to the end of the trigger pocket and tapering down to 40mm at the tip (muzzle) I used Okoume Marine Plywood laminated together with epoxy, but a much better choice will be to use Teak Wood. Hello hernandez, I want to finish this speargun project first, before making it available. I designed this trigger mechanism using a Cad program (Google Sketchup) The only dimensions that I can provide are: The trigger housing dimensions= 13x30x65mm, wall thickness: 2mm the Trigger and Sear= 5mm thick. All made from 316 stainless steel I´m very confident about this design, but I need to fiel test it, over a long period of time before making it available. Some of my channel viewers told me that is possible to take "screen shots" from some of my videos and then using scale to get the right sizes. Hello Orca Azur, making the speargun plans available will not be possible. Prior to starting building these spearguns I spend some time searching on line to get some tips and advise on how to make a wooden speargun, spearfishing forums like Spearboard.com, Deeperblue.com are good places to get some good information. This project is taking me a very, very long time to complete, making the spearguns is relatively easy and fast to do, but recording it at the same time that´s a total different history, and that`s the reason you haven`t seen the finish spearguns. Hello DZ Malekvali, for me finishing these homemade spearguns will be the realization of a very old dream of mine, it's a long story, so for now let just say that it all started when I was 12 years old. I honestly don´t know when I'm gonna complete this project, making the spearguns is relatively easy, making it and document it in video is a total different story, it takes a lot of time and energy, for now this project is on standby until more favourable times arrive.
