All the plat needs to do is work on his mechs. He makes good plays and stuff. Just doesn't have the control to follow through and can't aerial but after a few weeks of training packs and rings maps he could honestly get to like d3 because he plays smart.

I came here just to rant about the state of rocket League. To preference I'm a plat who's peaked diamond and I confidently feel I could even keep up and be a better random tm8 than most champs and gcs, the amount of bronze/silver/gold level players in plat. Yes I can easily go find a team that I can get champ with but why is it so hard for someone who is clearly above this level to move up? No I cannot flip reset or zap dash, but almost every video I've seen of champs and gcs they look like low level plats, the people I go up against(while getting bronze ah tm8 s). How is it so hard for the ranked system to be balanced?

Nah he’s likely been one of my teammates back when I was C1 lmao. C1 is a mix of boosted diamonds and washed up C3s/GCs you’d be shocked how many open nets are missed in C1. It’s basically diamond 4.
