The curved blades are more like Kamacurus’ blades rather than Gigan’s. Makes more sense for a reference since they fused Kumonga with Megalon and they probably continued the insect references.

It could be two different sets of eyes. The blue eyes could be a set of fake eyes. The yellow set could be the real better protected eyes. Or as I was thinking when I first saw it… I think the blue mass is a parasite inside the Komunga.

Now that you say it, I do actually notice that Kumonga's body shape resembles a mite or flea. So yeah, they might be parasites.

seeing as how alot of gsp monsters are design hybrids of other toho monsters,and their main ability being that to evolve their forms and abilities to better suit the terraforming environment makes me wonder if these monsters will branch off into different types of monsters. with kumonga,its possible that either that one nest or possible other nest around the world will evolve differently. some evolving more arachnid like to became more agile and trapper like. some evolving into stronger more durable beetle type form(s) to not only survive battles,but to burrow underground with their new drill appendages. some possibly splitting off into types of flying insect,like kamacarus or meganulon(and their queen being megaurius) to be an opposing threat to the rodan swarms. and some abandoning their exoskeletons all together to become hedorah beings,moving from humans to human waste and chemicals,eventually becoming a living biohazrd. theres even a posibility that the rodan and kumonga fuse to become a gigan like creature,with a hard exoskeleton and sycthe hands,but withs and bird anatomy. the same could be said for the different evolutions of godzilla. its possible that godzilla became ultima because itself was a singular point,but if there are possible others similar in nature,they could branch off as well into say titanosauras,varan,and gorgosaurs through their underpowered evolution by not being singular points,gaining their own adaptions to survive the our reality.

Kamanga takes elements of Kamacuras and Gigan. And I get a very Meganula vibe from Hanenga and, in turn, Zebunga makes me think of Megaguirus.

Tbh I think so since, Anguirus died and became a bigger version of itself. I feel like they'll do the same with the kaijus, giving them different evolutionary paths to become the monsters we know and love. Since they are building a Mechagodzilla I would hope that the other monsters will make their again appearance in the series

I'm gonna be honest. Not a huge fan of this Kumonga They fused one too many creatures together and made this... thing. It it of itself isn't too bad, Hanega and Zanenga mess it up for me.
