you should redo the landing part in a fresh world. you missed the actual intended landfall experience entirely by going on an already explored ashlands part. this made your sailing trip easy as there was no rock spires in your way at all.

I've been wanting to play Valheim again, never got all the way to defeating Moder (the ice dragon boss), i played with my dad Valheim, it was fun, even if i don't play with my dad anymore, neither my friends play it... I still enjoy seeing people have fun with it, feels like i have done my duty, Valheim does not feel the same when you play with friends or family, and if you can, Ray, you should try to play with friends, if you got some that play Valheim that is. And also, MORGAN!!!

I started playing this games a few days ago and you know I’ve got a base and everything tools all that stuff but I am stuck on leather armour because everytime I go in to a burial chamber I get killed pretty quick, I have like boar meat and deer meet and a yellow mushroom always eaten so I’m full, any tips on how I can progress faster?

I ran into that problem too hitting a wall from meadows to black forest days, but the best I can say is shield is going to be your best friend for a little bit. If anything I'd recommend getting copper and tin first! So kill as many deers for the trophy heads as you can. Upgrade your leather armor. Grab two health type foods and one stamina and then find the first boss altar for the deer trophies to be placed. After that you'll get something super important for the next big jump in progress and you could work through that era!

800 days? I’m in the 2,000’s now. Jeez, I’m slackin. Gotta get stuff done. lol. I had the same thing happen to me with the portal, but in the deep north border, not the south. Luckily, my outpost was in an old Dverger building, so I didn’t fall the second I walked out of the portal, but as soon as I opened the door, I realized all the Mistland islands were now floating. I don’t use that outpost anymore…

on 24:38 In the inventory there are also unknown to me shining yellow ingots (37 pieces). Maybe a graphic effect or another metal or mod. Or maybe it was the flame metal ingots mined before the official patch that became like this.

I've seen a few people comment about Hildir, but who is that and do I find them in the Ashlands?

@@RayofpandasGamingChannel she spawns in meadows(basic forest) biomes that border plains (deserty). You will know when you found her when a shirt icon pops up. Once you talk to her she will add new markers onto your map that lead to a more difficult version of the biomes dungeons and a mini boss. For example: in the black forest hildir dungeon there are 1 star skeletons at the start and in the end there is a fiery skeleton mini boss and 2 star skeletons. Once the boss is dead it will drop a chest that you have to give to hildir.

You should really have reset the ashlands biome before going there - you missed all the fun of navigating through the spikes in the water, and your landing in general was so much easier than it is meant to be. In case you explored the deep north already, make sure to at least reset that one (there are mods to do that).

Oh, the ashlands was completely reset before heading in! I think the spawn for where the spikes were was just super lucky that they didn't touch the one side I was on. Unless I'm completely wrong and the spikes normally cover every inch while getting into the ashlands. I plan on going to different islands/locations for more ashlands because it did feel like I was missing so much stuff on the portion I explored

Yeah, it only just hit me now that I did explore some of the ashlands before the update even touched the game. I'm going to take an entirely different path and try to experience everything the way it was intended

@@RayofpandasGamingChannelyour ashlands were nowhere close to what it should have been. Instead of flat terrain without aby features there should have been lava rivers and lakes, huge rocks and broken citadels... the biome is actually very nicely designed. And I just noticed that the flametal ore was just above ground without any danger. It should have been in the middle of a lava lake and sink into the lava as you are mining it.

Jeez, that's not the experience I had at all. Sorry if that took away from the immersion and I plan to go back and actually get the full experience like it was intended D:
