2013 BMW M6 Coupe (560hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (1080p FULL HD)

This week I have the opportunity to present you a 2013 BMW M6 Coupe (F13) with a massive 4.4 Twin-Turbo V8 (560hp, 680Nm) and 7-speed DCT transmission. Enjoy this cristal clear Autobahn and German country road footage. Honestly I am pretty impressed by the phaenomenal acceleration this car pulls out. Whatch it, this is absolutely stunning how the car goes up to 200, 250, and traction control kicks in under dry conditions at 160 km/h...Awesome! Besides this the SOUND in my ears is more than acceptable. Maybe not quite as thrilling as the "old" M5 with V10 but definately unique and special. I definately does not go under you skin like a Aston Martin V12 or the screaming V10 of the predecessor but somehow it perfectly suits this car. It is a refined yet pervasive sound and in the city you have more tunes to Play with. put it in 4 th gear at 50 km/h, floor it without kickdown and then release the throttle quickly.The thunder that Comes out of the exhaust at that Moment is wicked, or "geil" as the German's would say!

Toller Eindruck und Vergleich zu den anderen BMW 6ern. Der M6 definiert sich meiner Meinung nach durch seinen enormen Spagat zwischen Comfort Coupe und Ferrari Killer (zumindest auf der Autobahn). Im Normalmodus fährt sich das Auto wie jeder andere 6er auch, aber was Motor und Getriebe im M-Modus leisten ist schon einzigartig. Allerdings ist das Auto bei feuchten Verhältnissen nur mit Vorsicht zu genießen!

schönes auto. tolle videos machst du, ich finde den winkel der kamera im innenraum einfach perfekt, das vermittelt einem ein richtiges gefühl. der m6 ist ein schönes auto und macht bestimmt riesen spass aber für das geld würde ich mir dann doch was günstigeres, schnelleres holen :p die neuen lenkräder sind einfach der hammer aber die autos wiegen einfach viel zu viel. über das karbondach kann man bei einem gewicht von fast 2 tonnen (schätze ich mal) nur schmunzeln.

@@SRT_Daevon It's not unreliable if you let it warm before you revv it to 9k and if you change your oil every 10k miles it will be fine. But still you need to change rod bearings every 100k miles. For me it's worth it, the V10 engine inspired from a F1 car that revs to 9k and has 507hp from the factory not to mention the sound thats better than music. I wish they made f13 with V10.

You can't have everything. ;) The V10 does sound better but when it comes to performance I think that it was a sucrifice needed to be done.

no it was not needed for performance reasons. If they kept the v10 und put another 50ps to it plus the DCT transmission the v10 would be the better engine. also with turbos and rear wheel drive the traction is just bad because the torque comes in too quick.

Sound footage during the exahust clip is recorded with the Standard GoPro3 internal mic, but I drilled holes in the side of the Standard housing to let more ot fhe sound inside. The rest is recorded with Sony Camcorder and external microphone (also Sony). Glad that you like the Video:-)

You seem to be right. Usually the lower number is the Sedan (F10) or Coupe (F12) and the higher number the Touring (F11) and Cabrio (F13). But this time BMW seems to have changed this order and therefore I have to correct myself. The Coupe is the F13;-) Thanks!

crank it up when its cold and it sounds a lot better, it was a warm startup. This quick and quiet start-up is requiered by the Start-Stop system it has. Imagine the car makes a huge rev/growl everytime you set off from a traffic light. Would be funny though just shouting...."sorry people, this is the start-stop system for my 560 hp car...it needs to do that";-)

All measurements I have on my channel are speedo only. I know they don't give 100% figures and comparisons, but they should be a 95% estimate of speed. I am to lazy to set up a GPS box every time I drive all those cars, usually my time is limited and I want to enjoy them as much as possible;-) Thanks for watching!

No the s85 v10 in the M5 and M6 is very reliable because I personally bought a 2006 e60 M5 with 75000 miles on the clock then added 55000 miles myself and its still going tight as a drum, it is costly but if you enjoy cars of this caliber like me then its completely worth it, trust me :)

BMW is launching a new exhaust in November for the M5 & M6 & M6 GC. They are aware of the complaints for the exhaust note and even I, an ultimate BMW fan need to admit that it isnt perfect, but it was the first time that BMW M was experimenting with a turbo engine and turbos are famous for ,,killing" the sound a bit so they are going to correct that mistake later this year

Bin den M6 gefahren, leider bei Regen. Das hatte zur Folge, dass das Heck mehrmals ausbrach (gefühlte 1-2m nach links/rechts). Da überlegt man sich, ob ein 650i mit xDrive für einen Ganzjahreswagen nicht besser wäre. Allerdings ist der Sound des M6 und der Hunger nach Leistung unglaublich. :)

Definitv! Allerdings kann ich nicht genau sagen wie lange das noch dauern wird bis ein offizielles Fahrzeug zu bekommen ist. Sixt wird wahrscheinlich nächstes Jahr noch mal mit den "alten" M3 starten, allerdings werde ich parallel auch auf anderen wegen einen 2015er M3 / M4 anfragen.

The V10 M5 or M6 with Meistershaft GTC exhaust system sounds way better than this turbo V8. The high compression sound of big natural aspirated engines are awesome!!! This V8 don't have the screaming sound of those engines WITH the exhaust I just mention.
