I bought the glass thinking that it was that easy. And it's not. It really takes some finessing like you do in their video which I think is awesome

I saw this oca blade video pop up in my listing. Bassically cutting the glass of with a thin blade. Replacing the oca with a uv sensitive liquid. Squeezing it closed with clamps. Would this make a descent repair or should i just go for the expencive full screen replacement ?

Noooo would not recommend it. Let someone who does these everyday do the repair. We have seen many people try and it leads to then damaging the AMOLED this increasing cost of repair ($300+)

@@MrPhoneDoctor that's what I thought. The only problem here is that nobody in my area would do this type of repair, so the 300$+ repair is almost mandatory for me. Also while I'm at it, I have a strange bubble (like a water droplet) right next to my crack on my screen, it's like there's some water trapped between the screen and the glass. It's not particularly visible, only if the screen is really bright. Do you know what this could be ?

This repair is simple, watch, hes gonna cut the glass, and take apart very carefully, then his gonna clean the lcd, a new glass with the oca already installed is going to align in the housing/lcd then next step laminate the new glass with the laminating machine, or this bubble laminating machine, and last step put the phone to the bubble machine to take out the remaining bubbles..guys this method also works for the new note 10
