None of this should be surprising tbh, this has been known to the 0-cycle community for a long time, Seele has the highest damage throughput if you need to do a lot of damage in the least amount of action value, it doesn't matter how good the damage multiplier on Acheron is if Acheron needs so many action value just to ult, unless they superbuff the def/hp or add quantum immunity or something on the boss, Seele will just kill everything before Acheron can even get her stacks up, hence to a skilled player Seele will simply kill things much faster than Acheron

It’s not as difficult of a counter as the choir, but seele will definitely have issues with future aventurine, especially since entering the dice phase basically loses the run.

Also one thing that I have always said but ppl dislike is that her kit is designed in a way that when she hits specific breakpoints in dmg her performance dramatically changes. When you couple that with spd I feel like ppl don’t understand how strong that combo is. The thing with Seele is she will never hit as hard as the top dps units, but she will hit way more often than them. So even though her individual hits aren’t as heavy, her frequency of atks makes her deceptively strong.

26:56 the reason is because for Seele almost every team has cleared in 6.07 cycles (2.7%/3.8%) she is quite consistent and only used by highly skilled players, she has decently high ceiling at high investment. Acheron in turn is used by everyone and their mom, so % of low investment Acheron tams is much higher. Edit: ok it still doesn't add up, Seele average clears are less then her fastest clear team, this is impossible result, so there is definitely an error

The issue is that it’s very easy to build a dogshit boothill and still clear because he does so much toughness damage and has delay on the ult, meaning you won’t take much damage. So the good boothill users are just being diluted by the mass of really bad boothill users. You can see that all of the slowest teams are boothill teams.

The problem is the ease of use between firefly and boothill is so huge. a good boothill player can decide who to target first and nuke later on. a bad boothill player would mess up so bad because they didn't get his stacks quick enough or target the wrong mob. Whereas a Firefly player good or bad can just do whatever and not suffer as much even if it was not the optimal play.

i have a question: how much is it worth to reinforce a team (so pulling for the rerun of the characters to get either the eidolons or the lightcones) instead of pulling new characters from scratch? I have managed to complete two whole teams: The first one made of Firefly, Ruan Mei, Gallager, and Harmony MC The second one made of Acheron, SW, Pela and Aventurine So since these two teams can go basically againts everything in the game since they are very versatile, i was wondering if i should stop totally to pull for new characters, and just save everything to obtain the eidolons or LC (prioritizing Firefly and Acheron first) of these characters instead. Is it a safe thing to do? Or is it just dumb and i should not do it?

@@lordzeref8175 generally the powercreep is slow enough that investing in current characters more is better than pulling for new characters for increasing your raw damage. However, new characters also brings more versatility so you won’t get countered by one specific type of enemy. One compromise is investing in supports, which improves both current and future characters. Notably, ruan mei e1 is about as good as firefly e1 for that team, and can be used with other teams as well.

at the end of the day, e2 Acheron will always be good, e2 firefly will always be good, but new character will most likely in the future eventually become better than Acheron and firefly, so just pull for either characters who u think are fun, or eidolons if you want to have a future proof team

@@georgezhang1573 As supports i have Harmony MC E6, Tingyun E6, Ruan mei E0S0 and Bronya E1S0 on my account, so if i can get an Acheron E2 in the future i can swap out either SW or Pela for Bronya i suppose. Either way, the only character i wanted to pull before investing everything in the reruns was the new fire healer in 2.5 for the Firefly team. All i wanted to know is if it's a good option to reinforce an already enstablished team instead of constatly pulling the new stuff (since the content Hoyo will made will be around the new characters of course). But if you're telling me that it's actually the better thing to do, then i will follow this route 100%, thank you very much 😁

27:45 doesn’t take a mathematician to correct you here. If Seele’s fastest team is 6+ cycles she can’t have a 5.71 average. Something definitely went haywire in their compiler or some other human error occurred. Also yes the first half is a joke for Firefly even without the trotter so it’s natural that she crushing the competition. I’ll be interested to see how she does against a “more neutral opponent if I can say so myself” 😂 I believe she’ll still be near the top until we have toughness lock on both sides, which probably won’t happen any time soon.

You could have like 10 Arlan mains retrying for a week to 0 cycle and suddenly he's the best unit in the game according to the statistics. Still not sure I believe that Seele has 3 teams that between them outperform every other DPS, occam's razor is that there was a problem with the data. I get that the sample size is low and only dedicated mains would play her, but that leaves the question of why Jing Yuan's records are so dismal. If anyone is dedicated it's them.

He doesn't really need his light cone (although 60% BE and 20% def ignore and 12% speed is crazy good its not necessary) And is less reliant on ruan mei than firefly (might feel wierd to use if his first basic dosnt break+kill instantly) And in fastest clears he managed to be faster than firefly So idont even know wtf happened

@@peak1824 yeah his light cone adding around 30% damage to his breaks is crazy good like I said but not necessary. I think the light cone will make a big difference for you if you are struggling to kill the first mob in one turn. I can definitely see that being the case for your friend or he had the issue of not having a trash mob to kill in side 2 which now that I think about it E1 is better in a scenario like this you'll miss on 60BE 4% Def ignore and some speed but having the 1 stack at the start of battle means you always will kill the trash mob and you dont have that much issues if theres no trash mob to kill. Maybe I should get his E1 instead of the light cone on his rerun..... Anyways I got distracted you're right both FF and BH are so close that you might only see the difference with their light cone in niche scenarios. FF being easiest character to use is also a benefit she has (although I personally don't like this type of character) Or a scenario like this triple boss where FF doing blast damage shows her advantage and Boothill going against a boss with big toughness bar will show his advantage while at the same time not having any trash mob will show his issue at E0.

@@peak1824 last time I had that issue I used aventurine to do a basic attack on the trash mob so Boothill could kill it Other than that and getting LC or E1 does his Boothill have good atk and crit rate crit damage? Those can also help with killing the enemy. Or making ruan mei go first with vonvaq so she has ult up although I think everyone does this assuming your friend does it aswell Making gala faster than Boothill so he gets his ult (if no RM LC he should probably use a skill to get the ult with ER rope but probably basic is fine if the set bonus also gives ER) Then when it's Boothills turn skill on one of the mobs then ult with gala enemy breaks and u skill again with Boothill to kill the broken enemy Should work fine.

Seele comps have at least 6 variations that can clear the MoC, with 2 that I can think of that are meant to do fast clears with proper investment (0-1 cycles average ,2 cycles max), the mono quantum in that list is the only comp that has reached 200 clears which is used for consistency and comfort not for fast clears.

The pro-powercreep doomers are in shambles after this one...seele is absolutely broken by typical turn based games standards for sure purely based on design and will continue to cook for a while but cause hsr is a gacha eventually she will be phased out purely based on enemy stats and mechanics. Unless if they pull off a hi3rd and release newer limited LCs that are specific to these older units to bring em back up. Unlikely to happen tho.

@blancka4200 hemiko's rise in popularity is cause the game kept adding things, be it character, enemies, or gamemodes that she can shine with more than ever. On top of that, the playerbase finally pulled their head out of their ass and started to understand how a character can have nuance and isn't just about raw numbers, so they played her more. JY lc is great ofc, but it's been around since 1.0, and hemiko only recently started to be appreciated as she should've been. The hi3rd weapons have specific character buffs...in the case of hsr a newer lc would be something like "if hemiko weakness breaks an enemy they recover twice as fast and take the same break dmg every turn after recovery and also increases her BE by x amount per enemy broken up to y stacks" That's more like what hi3rd does, not just universal strong buffs.

What's there to defend? They clear the moc 12 just fine. Tier list just usually favors newer characters anyway. This goes for all gacha games. Only insecure people need to validate themselves to feel good about themselves. This is a PVE game so just beating all the contents with characters that they like is fine. Why be a sheep a follow what others are doing. Also didn't this community bully all the Jing Yuan mains here? I doubt almost any Jing Yuan mains watch this channel. For me, I just pull any characters that I like and use them, that includes Jing Yuan. Sometimes I use meta team and sometimes I don't. It's not like I couldn't clear contents because I used Jing Yuan.

Now that there's been tons of data that contradicts they way they felt about him, they stopped caring. Jing Yuan mains were very common in the comments and their reddit used to argue with Pokke and others. I knew this would eventually happen the second I noticed they avoided posting some data that made him look bad.

@@sct77 When I pulled him I thought of him as an aoe character that can also be decent against boss. Like obviously he got power crept but I also didn't understand why people shit on him when he can clear contents fine. Is he the best,no? But he isn't like the worst. I have seen people just attack a person just because they use a certain character. I mean there are bad apples among each mains, not just Jing Yuan. That doesn't give excuse to treat others horribly. I have seen some terrible actions from not just Jing Yuan mains but others as well. This is same for like Genshin community as well. At the end of the day though data is useless because everyone has different investment, skills, and character pools. I used to play card games competitively and for those meta mattered, but I find it idiotic to see people argue and attack people over what's best in a pve game. For fun sure, but anything other than that and attacking others are stupid. To me, a character is only bad if they can't beat the endgame content with a proper team and investment.

She isn't dog shit. Her multipliers were just tuned to 1.0 enemies so she just needs higher investment for her skill set to truly shine. Most player just move onto newer units but her extra turn is one of the most broken abilities that can be possible in a turn-based game. The same thing that turns dhil into a monster at e2 and same with firefly even though there is a cool down.
