My mods are cooked for the Slot 5 Pen, its better than Slot 5 ATK% if you are using Rina + S1, worse if you use Rina + Nicole in the same team, or any other DEF down sources since they both scale worse with one another (although they still scale). ACTUAL TLDR: If using Rina and Rina alone as support, ATK/PEN All others, ATK/ATK especially with good enough crit rate. Yanagi Disorder damage is very substantial in a long fight, 5% increase is worth it alone even if ATK doesn't increase miyabi personal damage as much.

Few addendums: - Unless you really want to optimize your Miyabi, Slot 4 and 5 mainstats dont matter too much for the average player. Prioritize hitting 80% CR and subs over anything else. Also, the worse your subs, the better CR and CDMG Slot 4 are. Again, this is absolute Min-Maxing, dont sweat about it. - Even if I (or Pokke or any other CC for that matter) try to find the best builds, prioritize fun and stamina efficiency over a 1% dmg increase. Better to build 2 other units instead of wasting 3k Stamina for a 1% better disc drive. - Flat Combat ATK Buffs such as from Lucy or Caesar diminish ATK% in Slot 4. Thanks for the clarification, I was about to comment that if you need Crit Rate slot 4 to hit 80% (essentially you don’t have her sig) all of this is completely useless to you. Pen is 1-3% better if you use Rina, in every other Scenario ATK% and Ice is better, and even then, the difference is not noticeable in real time runs. Pick whatever has the best Crit and Attack substats Saved you 33 mins. We knew about this weeks before she came out thanks to Theorycrafters. Your goal should be getting as much CD and ATK% as possible after hitting 80% base crit rate, max CR you should aim on the stat sheet is 88% since she gets 12% from the 4 pc.

9:02 I'm not sure if you're aware, but PEN in ZZZ is just DEF ignore instead of the RES PEN we're familiar with in Star Rail. That being said, if we combine M1 Miyabi M1 Rina and PEN Ratio mainstat (36+39+24) you end up with a whopping 99 DEF ignore. So before you even applied Nicole's 40% DEF shred, you were already 1% off from 100% DEF ignore thus making Nicole's existence on the team pointless. The only reason the damage went up as much as it did is because Nicole's engine gives a 24% DMG bonus against targets hit by her EX special/Chain/Ult.

I tested with ellen. A higher atk stats do more dmg than a 30% increase in crit dmg. @ 77% crit% + 20% from engine 2800 atk 200% Crit dmg vs 3400 atk 170% crit dmg. The latter deal more dmg. IIRC the way the damage formula works in this game you can keep stacking atk%, different from the others where element bonus% has it's own factor. This is why there's so little difference with elemental disc 5 when it would be much more noticeable in the others.

Yes PEN Ratio is just DEF ignore and if you lower the enemy’s DEF the less of it you are ignoring. Flat PEN benefits from it instead but it’s already not a very impressive stat.

As a f2p who got sig honesty It doesn’t really matter what your running in 4/5 as long as the sub stats are good and you get 80% Crit rate, my 4 is Crit Dam and 5 is Attack, and my ratio is 75.4 Crit (+12 in combat) and 166.8 Crit damage (+80 in combat -weapon/set bonus) and I’m just running her with Von and Sokaku. So when i get everything procked I’m at 87.4 CR and 246.8 CD.

I cant afford M2 Miyabi because it took me 112 pulls to get Miyabi at all and then I got her engine thankfully won her engine and then I pulled for Harumasa's engine because I want to build him too and now my Miyabi I have her crit rate at 82% I cant really go any higher than that and her crit damage is 125% I have might be a little low on that but atleast I met the minimum of 80% crit rate that u need for Miyabi but now Im busy building Harumasa he's level 57 always running out of upgrade materials so im waiting for battery as always sometimes spent some polychrome for battery but not a lot I want to save it so I think I didn't build my Miyabi wrong I just dont have her M2 and cannot get that lol and the discs for Miyabi Im using is like 4 branch and song and the rest woodpecker

I think using sokaku for the test is why CD did better for you. The amount of attack sokaku grants, gives miyabi diminishing returns on any attack stats. If any new limited agents that were to come out that give as much attack as sokaku, then Crit damage will just do more. If not than attack will fair better

I was testing clear times (M0R1 Miyabi) with both CDMG and ATK% with Caesar It ended up being p much even, so I just stayed with ATK% since it scales better with units that don't boost your attack (I like using Lycaon) 3532 atk, 73% CR, 123.6% CDMG with all atk% main stats But yeah even the differences on sheets are 3% at best so sub stats are the main factor

I want to test a lot of stuff with my M2U1 but so far I've had Diabolical runs with Freedom blues Lycaon (Impact 6 w/ Koleda Sig) + Soukaku w/ anomaly on 6-slot and 2pc-Jazz with 4pc-new set. Idk if its a good time (relative to other miyabi teams) since I haven't looked at other clears, but on shiyu 7 - 1st half. I finished in 1:12. Miyabi has core-7, basic-12, 9-Skill and Ult. Miyabi has atk-6, ice-5, c.rate-4 (104% c.rate and around 200% c.dmg with full buffs from set, wengine and m2)

No. It stacks with Nicole DEF down to and still losing. I do believe because the ATK% is not high enough (cause u switching to PEN) so the DEF doesnt increase the dmg that much

I think you did pen% a little dirty by not testing against a 952 def enemy, but it seems like the standard Dullahan is very high as well with 921 def, so it probably didn't matter.

The way I understand why Pen doesn’t work with Def down is like this: If you are already Penetrating someone armor, reduce the armor toughness won’t make it much more effective since you are already penetrated it. The goal of of Def down was to make the weapon easier to pen thru BUT if you’re already penetrated then…
