I was legitimately freaked out when everything became foggy. It happened as I explored the edges, so I didn't notice the level 80 enemies appeared because of the weather conditions and were not always hanging out there. And then I turned around toward the lake and saw Lovecraftian horrors hanging from the pillars.

It's probably the creepiest and most difficult part to get through as well. I remember struggling trying to beat a side quest here but I always got attacked by multiple enemies after trying to beat 1. Level 70 or higher basically made everything difficult. Took me 3 days to get past it. As much as I love to grind in games this was just ridiculously stupid.

First came to Tantal at night, so this was the first song I heard and I don't know man, it's just really beautiful. I like a lot of the night themes but this was the first one where I thought "I need to listen to this as soon as I can again, this is amazing." Tantal has been wonderful so far.

I can’t decide if Night or Day is better in Tantal but I can say this it’s the best area in the game for 3 reasons 1 this theme 2 the day theme 3 when it’s foggy and all the lvl 90 squids come out it feels great taking them in as well as the Cloud Sea King

I got to the city before morning and did the quests there, then when the big mission to help the titan came up I left and the daytime music started blasting and made the experience even more awesome

The day theme is one of my favourite themes of the game but the moment night fell and I saw the giant squids surrounding the lake, I just couldn't do anything but smile. I think finding an area full of really dangerous monsters is one of the best feelings I have in this kind of game. Its always a oh, im already 50, wasn't there a cave full of level 50+ monsters in that hidden area i found 20 hours ago? Lets goooo. I always end up overleveled though, hope the next game they do, if its another xeno, they add Xenoblade Chronicles DE's expert mode...
