Not necessarily. I found out recently that if you warp into the Aion Hangar Entrance and taking the elevator down, a couple of Drub Soverigns will roll their way into the elevator entrance of Colossus Hangar. It will still play Battle in the Skies Above.

Well, the Malos spirit battle on Pyra/Mythra’s DLC Spirit Board, while sadly lacking this music, does have you fighting a bunch of giant Ridleys representing Gargoyles before the Malos Richter himself, so that’s pretty neat

In all honesty, I would have loved if there was a full boss battle vs Shion, Jr., and chaos, with them having an ether link akin to a blade link with KOS-MOS, MOMO, and Ziggy, as they were the original protagonists in Xenosaga 1, just imagine how raw it would be to have T-elos as a blade during that fight and Hepatica playing, it would be the icing on the cake, with her shield hammer morphing into the weapons she used during the final fight in XS3. That should have been how you unlocked KOS-MOS instead of through gacha

Mostly due to being around 2 in the morning so i tried to avoid them. I got smited 3 times by the boss before I conceded I needed to level up more so i got to hear this theme a lot until I reached level 72.

XB2's combat is leagues better once you get to the post game. You use every single button on the controller & it tests your reflexes & planning. XB1 is just so damn overrated.

I felt xc2's battle system to be more repetitive as when playing rex you just spam his attack's with mythra and they refill immedietly. With 1 I felt like there was more urgency with the changing future mechanic as if always changed up the battles and brought urgency to them. Plus being able to move while auto attacking was fun

Honestly it's so underrated because it's so underused. It was used for these big robots leading up to final battle (there was only around 4 of them) and that was it. And you weren't even required to fight them. I didn't fight them my first playthrough so I never heard the song which kind of sucks because of how incredible this song is.

@@maxrichards3881 have you considered that it's supposed to sound frantic and chaotic, like reality itself is falling apart and the fate of everything is at stake? Seems pretty fitting when you consider who you're about to be fighting as the final boss. There's also the emotional payoff of both battles to consider. Let me explain. The fights where this plays in XC2: "Oh, I guess that thing that they briefly mentioned a few times in the plot is up here and trying to kill me. Well okay I guess. Get out of my way, I wanna go fight the final boss and finish the game." The fights where "World of Zanza" plays in XC1: "Oh hey, I remember you guys! Got beat up a lot trying when I fought you originally. Now it's payback time!" Do you see how one of these scenarios encourages a strong emotional reaction, whilst the other seems like a complete afterthought gameplay-wise? But I guess at the end of the day, the song you prefer is really up to your own opinion.
