Great video and very cool puzzle. I'm not sure I would ever get it though, because most puzzles are self-contained. Will it turn transparent if you hold your hand on it long enough? Well duhh of course it will work, why else would the hint be a finger print if you are not supposed to put your hand on it to reveal the puzzle that way?? It should after all easily be solvable without using an extra (electric) tool right.. Also he said between 25-30 degrees Celcius, the human body is around 37 degrees Celcius from inside, so outside probably is a little colder than that but after a few minutes putting your hand on it flat, it should become perfectly visible I would say! @@XiaoYueMao It would have been nice to see how long it would take normally though. Who wants to sit around for 5-10 mins with their hand on the puzzle and not engage with it? I wish there were timestamps in the description. The second puzzle is definitely beyond my abilities, but the first one looks solvable enough I want to buy one unspoiled 0:00 Intro 2:45 Alcatraz 5:48 Fire Book 12:07 Summary

Without a word of a lie, when you said "No one expects the solution", the first thing I thought was "What do you have to do, put it in the oven to heat it up"

very cool method of revealing the solution! though as you said, the solution could still be found by sheer luck/trial and error. it would be awesome to see a puzzle where the locking mechanism uses some kind of material that expands/contracts with heat, so that the actual method of unlocking is to apply heat with a flame or blow dryer or something

My approach to any puzzle (or basically any problem I stumble across) - *let's just bump it!* If it didn't work - *let's bump it really hard*

OH MY LORD I HAVE THAT ALCATRAZ PUZZLE AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO SOLVE IT. The one i have is quite a bit older i think. It at the very least predates their internet webpage. You have to physically write to them for a solution if you want it and include return postage. I got it when I was really young and honestly forgot about it until i saw it here.

When I first read the video title, my first thought was to use fire to open the "Book of Fire". Then I thought setting the puzzle on fire would destroy it so, that couldn't be correct. It turns out, I was actually on the right track. I do have a question Mr. Puzzle, how long does it take for the sticker to revert to normal?

At night you cant solve it, get mad and leave it on the desk. You dream of how to solve this puzzle. The morning sun rays shines across the desk where you left the puzzle and warms it up. You awake and see how to solve the puzzle. Your dreams have been answered...lol
