It could be that it was actually richtofen scrawling "teddy is a liar", just like how he set it as his username and password on moon, maybe its the side of him that isnt corrupted, still traumatised by both his actions and the bullying he faced as a child, he resorts to writing teddy is a liar to warn people not to trust him, primis richtofen killed ultimus richtofen too, and doesnt trust any other richtofen, he couldnt even trust himself, hence "eddy is a liar" is just a reminder not to trust any other potential richtofen.

This is what I miss the most from OG zombies. Yes, there are mysteries and hidden things, but the older games had such a charm to finding bits of the story scattered throughout. Finding Easter eggs and story continuations on new maps was the best.

The old zombies lore and story was so awsome because of the players imagination leading the mystery of the maps. Hearing all the radios and finding bits of other human survivors made it fun to explore, find what secrets are left behind. Also wanting to get more on the other people on those radio like extra dialog or a small map based on their outbreak experience etc. I spent hours in waw n bo1 looking at small corners of each zombie map hoping to find small hidden easter eggs. So it's nice treyarch kept these story details throughout their games but fell off majorly in aura and spirit behind the new updated story. Tuff times out here but awsome video so far, love the nostalgia here 👍

WaW was by far the best game for lore we have ever seen in this series. Maybe not by quantity as the later games were ran by the story, but the way the story was told in the WaW with the writing on the wall and the little notes here and there, it felt more like lore than what it does today. The WaW lore and storytelling of zombies reminds me a lot of how fnaf told its lore back in the first couple games too. They make a game with characters and gameplay mechanics, and then drip the story in through pieces or lore like the newspaper articles and such. I personally prefer that way of story building to todays way of telling the player everything straight as it is.

Verrückt was my favorite map. I beat the campaign, unlocked "Nazi zombies" mode. Nacht was beautiful. So was Shinonuma. Also, story-wise, I'd love the LTG to come into play and somehow being used to open portals to other universes. Mix in Dr. Monty realizing the cycle itself could be starting again (he could be Mr. Peeks), and what a great way it would be to bring back Primus in some form. Throw in the probable return of the Chaos characters and man...could be set up for a great set piece for a new Great War.

Peter McCain is a name i never heard. I'm more recently got into zombies but the storyline is fantastic. I loved what you did with coldwar and I'll watch each and every zombies story video you drop
