It could be that it was actually richtofen scrawling "teddy is a liar", just like how he set it as his username and password on moon, maybe its the side of him that isnt corrupted, still traumatised by both his actions and the bullying he faced as a child, he resorts to writing teddy is a liar to warn people not to trust him, primis richtofen killed ultimus richtofen too, and doesnt trust any other richtofen, he couldnt even trust himself, hence "eddy is a liar" is just a reminder not to trust any other potential richtofen.

The old zombies lore and story was so awsome because of the players imagination leading the mystery of the maps. Hearing all the radios and finding bits of other human survivors made it fun to explore, find what secrets are left behind. Also wanting to get more on the other people on those radio like extra dialog or a small map based on their outbreak experience etc. I spent hours in waw n bo1 looking at small corners of each zombie map hoping to find small hidden easter eggs. So it's nice treyarch kept these story details throughout their games but fell off majorly in aura and spirit behind the new updated story. Tuff times out here but awsome video so far, love the nostalgia here 👍

WaW was by far the best game for lore we have ever seen in this series. Maybe not by quantity as the later games were ran by the story, but the way the story was told in the WaW with the writing on the wall and the little notes here and there, it felt more like lore than what it does today. The WaW lore and storytelling of zombies reminds me a lot of how fnaf told its lore back in the first couple games too. They make a game with characters and gameplay mechanics, and then drip the story in through pieces or lore like the newspaper articles and such. I personally prefer that way of story building to todays way of telling the player everything straight as it is.

21:52 Doctor Porter was, in fact, following Richtofen's orders/plan because everyone knew about Maxis's deal with the Nazis. The audio clip just before this with Doctor Porter killing himself was actually because of a zombie outbreak that Samantha caused at the facility after gaining control over the zombies by Maxis ordering her to go back inside of the MPD and quote "Kill them....ALL" meaning Richtofen and the rest of Group 935. So while it is an interesting theory/hypothesis. It is sadly not true

I miss the old lore. When seeing bloods end, the cutscene had me crying, bruh! I feel not very attached to this story, but i also dont really know what's going on. I hope you keep making more lore videos for both old and new games!

I absolutely love this type of video, started playing on BO3 zombies and now that BO6 gave us a refreshing year I’m playing the games before BO3 and tryna catch up with the lore, always saw the videos about it but it’s only now I want to understand it. Anyhow, happy day to y’all!

Peter McCain is a name i never heard. I'm more recently got into zombies but the storyline is fantastic. I loved what you did with coldwar and I'll watch each and every zombies story video you drop
