Hilary is NOT Agnes neighbour, Winnie IS and the actress who plays Winnie is Brendan O’Carroll’s sister. The actor who plays granda was Brendan O’Carroll’s window cleaner and then one of the roadies.

However Dermot O'Neill a completely different person who was an Irish gardener who used to appear on Irish radio and TV gardening programs did die in 2022.
