I can visualise something very similar in spring pastels - it would make a fabulous Mother’s Day gift - so, Mums candy store instead of Mrs Claus. You could even do one for each season with companion recipes (eg, sorbets for summer, caramel apples for Autumn (fall) etc). It is so well thought out and expertly executed, I’m in awe 😊

Vintage recipe cards are MY FAVORITE. If I ever find them at an estate sale, I always grab them! It breaks my heart that people wouldn't want to save these! They're so personal and special! I'm glad you're inspired to put them to good use again. Happy crafting, Louise! HUGS

Also have lot's of old postcards ..... some from the first world war and the messages are beautiful .... but so sad . I can't imagine that people throw them away 😢😢 still more for us to collect I guess lol . 🥰 Absolutely love your Journal's 😍😍 your an inspiration ❤ much love xxx

Thank you, Peggy! I made the recipe cards myself using Canva! Super easy to do! I just took my favorite recipes, retyped them on the program, and chose the colors I wanted in order to match the colors of the digital papers from the kit.

Ahhhhh....I think this is the very best Christmas recipe journal idea I've ever seen on KZbin! Fantastic! Soooo pretty! I love the idea of the recipe cards having the same design. I wish you had a template for them! One question: where did you get the adorable small jars for the candy? And did you make the candy? Thank you for the inspiration!!!!

Hi, Loretta! Thank you so VERY MUCH for your generous comment! Wow! I read read it more than once because it brightened my day and lifted my spirits immensely! The little jars are from the Dollar Tree! You get a pack of 6. As for the mini candies, the gummy bears, suckers, mnm's, and little faux candies are "3d nail art" from Temu! The other "Candies" are mini sequins/glitters like that you would use in a shaker, and the bigger puffy balls are mini Styrofoam balls that I also got from the Dollar Tree!

@@lorettahouben6565 Once you start on temu... you will be absolutely addicted. It's where I buy Almost all of my craft supplies now for 90% less than in store. Not everything is on there, but A LOT is.
