I had a terrible way of wording my comments around the time I wrote this, I think what I meant to say was: “Ride me sideway” wasn’t originally on script, but after Doyle’s actor blurted it out during one of the rehearsals they decided to add it onto the final script.

I just happened to read an article in the March 5th 2018 issue of Home & Away on "Remembering The genius of "Father Ted" Dermot Morgan. So I had to watch an episode. This is classic. It's got to be one of the best scenes in the entire series. Listen to it with earphones and you'll hear Mrs Doyle corpse after she says "Get your bollocks out of my face".
